Elena woke up slowly. Her head hurt. Her eyes blinked open to a ceiling she did not know. The bed was soft, too soft. She sat up fast, her heart beating hard. Where was she? The room looked like something from a dream. Large windows with gold curtains. A chandelier above her. A dresser full of perfumes. Everything smelled clean and strange.
