Cassandra POV
Tossing and turning on the bed, I couldn’t find sleep. My body is sweating and my head is aching. I have changed into my cotton nightgown and even then my body is turning hot by every minute. Pulling my hair, I get up and sit on my bed.
My eyes are paining, waiting for the sleep to come. Head between my hands, I pull my knees up and settle my head on it.
I raise my eyes towards the window which is open, the weather was breezy and still, it is not doing anything for me.
I jump from the bed and pick up my favorite greenish-blue rob with the golden star and put it on. I also take a rag with me. The heat might make me take a bath at this time of night.
