I stayed on the floor, my legs shaking too much to stand. Blood was rushing in my ear, pounding like a drum. The heat between my thighs was still screaming, throbbing for the weight of him. I was a mess filled with shameful longing. My body felt branded by him, the ghost of his massive hardness still pressing into my hip I was in disbelief that that had happened. That I had been that shameless. I was still gasping for air when the heavy sound of boots echoed through the tunnel. I looked up expecting to see him but it wasn’t Caden. Fenri and Sylvie stepped inside. Sylvie stopped dead. Her eyes swept over the cave, taking in the way I was huddled on the ground. She looked at my wild hair and my flushed face. Her eyes narrowed into slits, her face twisting with a dark, ugly suspicion.
