DIP: The Piercer (complete - TO BE EDIT)

As the bleeding of Raika’s tattooed at the infirmary with her trainer, outside the quarters, a malicious and dangerous unknown creature suddenly stepped in some isolated alley within town. This type of creature was like a huge boar with sharp claws that can make any prey limp and pleading for mercy. It also possessed such razor teeth like a sabertooth that can shatter any prey into pieces and those rotten perfect horns made this creature distinguished as one of the Beasts.

This boar beast has no sense of pity or care for any human life it came crossed with. It quickly slashed those human throats for it fed from blood and flesh. It devoured its prey until it can’t be recognized anymore. This particular creature was once known as a human named Pete Rasputin who died fifteen years ago but now he’s back as a hideous and frightening predator known as Boar Beast.

“More…I want more…” The boar beast said unsatisfied after feeding from its lifeless – dead preys that was lying on a dark alley.

It roared out loud which exactly made Raika suddenly wake up from her nice rest. She looked around the room and she was totally alone in the infirmary. She sighed and wanted to go back to sleep but she can’t since it was already noon. She got up then went to get some simple meals for her lunch at the cafeteria. The cafeteria has its few customers since most of them were still on their shift in the DIP headquarters. Raika took her small meal of an apple, milk, and water for her lunch. After taking a short but satisfying meal for her, she went to the training room to do some exercises while waiting for her trainer, Luna.

The training room has tons of equipment for bodybuilding, boxing ring, martial art podium and other training weapons. Raika got there alone which made her even more relaxed and excited to try something by herself. She removed her sweat shirt which leaves her only sports bra and fitted sweatpants before going to a small empty field. The small field was connected to the training field that they perfectly ruined early this morning but the pipes were already fixed as well some of the walls and grounds. 

Raika took a deep breath as she centered herself like she was channeling her energy to sync perfectly. But it was her first time syncing her energy on her own which led to a failure - meaning another ton of scratches on the walls.

“Seriously, it was only meditation and I still failed in my first attempt whenever I was alone.” Raika sighed but still continued.

Raika once again took a deep breath before she closed her eyes and felt everything revolving around her. As she felt those calming energies around her, she slowly let her energy out before letting them sync to her surroundings energies. Her energy was indeed moving smoothly but their colors were shifting from time to time like they were uncertain emotions that were flowing inside of her and it was a bit dangerous. Every color reflected what emotions she was having but now on her meditation it was indeed multi-colors before going to none – colorless one.

As she kept meditating, Ashlyn and Luna passed at the training room and they noticed Ceres at the aisle of the field. They were caught up on how promising and powerful Raika can be.

“She's a remarkable one, Ash. Do you think she can go outside?” Luna asked while proudly watching Raika doing her meditation training.

“Hm, you’re her trainer, Lu. You were the first one can tell if she can go or not.” Ashlyn answered her while smiling at what she was seeing.

“Well, she’s your partner, isn’t she? You can definitely tell it as well.” Luna teased which made Ashlyn smile, turning into a serious one.

“Train her and let's see if she’s for me.” Ashlyn said with a blank face but her tone was sound hopeful which made Luna giggled.

“Oh please. She listens to you like you were her sire, I mean dam.” She countered which made Ashlyn shake her head before turning her heels.

“If I am her parent, then she can be something more.” Ashlyn said before leaving Luna smiling at the training room. 

As Ashlyn walked back to her office, an alarming pain made her immediately fall onto her knees and her eyes began to turn into black like a dead warlock. Ashlyn was whimpering as she tried not to make any sound even though it was cursing one. She’s trying to control everything but not this time – she was losing it for something she didn’t know until a promising hand landed onto his shoulder.

“Are you okay, Ashlyn?” a worried voice from Raika which Ashlyn wondered how she didn’t even hear that she entered her office. She looked at Raika so weakly but still managed to smile.

“Now, I am.” Ashlyn chuckled then coughed.

“What happened?” Raika asked worriedly as she helped her sit up and even leaned her back on the wall.

“Well, it’s my demon warlock power. It was getting out of control again but thankful you came.” Ashlyn said gladly which made Raika nodded in understanding before Luna came in the picture without knocking.

“Seriously Raika, you’re too fast.” Luna said while catching her breath.

“Sorry…but Ashlyn needs my help.” She answered flatly.

“Your help? Honestly, what’s going between you two?” Luna arched her eyebrow while studying them.

“Luna, remember what I’ve told you...” Ashlyn started which made Luna nod and Raika a bit lost to what they were talking about.

“…she’s something more for me and she’s chosen by it.” Ashlyn explained that made Luna surprised at what she finally revealed. 

Luna thought it was just a bond like she has as a tamer but being chosen by Ashlyn’s demonic warlock, meant life and death or more than what a partner could have. 

“Seriously guys, I am here.” Raika butted in which made the two chuckle.

“Don’t worry, Raika…you will know that soon. Just stay with him for a moment, I’m gonna get ready for our training.” Luna said before leaving them both on the floor.

Raika settled next to Ashlyn and continued her meditation which has an effect on Ashlyn. She smiled while watching and feeling Raika’s calming energy flowing around the room. As both of them were relaxing, a sudden alarming sound from the siren made them startled.

“Raika, go and find Luna. I’ll be going out.” Ashlyn ordered which made Raika worried about her well being.

“Are you sure that you can?” Raika asked as she grabbed Ashlyn’s wrist.

“Yes. Now of you go.” Ashlyn reassured her as she kissed Raika’s forehead before running off toward the DIP securities.

As Raika went to the locker area of the training room to look for Luna but there was no sign of her there. She took her sweat shirt on the locker before running toward the DIP facilities where everyone was on their busy asses.

“Where are they?” Raika asked herself when she noticed that everywhere she went, it was nearly empty until she saw Luna.

“Luna! What’s going on?” She called then asked as she approached Luna.

“It’s a Triple-S class. It has been detected not far from here that’s why everyone was on their post.” Luna replied to her while watching the huge screen where the whole map of the town was shown.

“And you?” Raika asked when she noticed that she was the only one she knew who had authority here. Luna was a S rank beast tamer.

“I’m the head trainer so I’ll be staying here until I was needed on the field.” Luna responded while looking carefully on the movement of a red dot and the blue dots on screen.

They were all watching where the dots were going until they heard a green alarming siren which meant medic. One team from the medical team immediately went to where the scene was. As they got there, three humans were quivering and frightened for their lives but as the DIP medical checked on them, one of these humans was pointing to some street. The human guy was crying out of fear while the DIP medic treated their wounds. As they were saved, one wasn’t since this particular human victim managed to run away from its three friends. The victim was found shattered into pieces like from the lamppost there was its shoe; some pieces of torn clothes trailing toward the dark alley. Going inside the dark alley, a sticky smell from the saliva of the monster was seriously going to break your nostrils. Deeply inside, a chopped leg and foot were being located. As two DIP inspectors kept looking around the dark alley, behind the dumpster they found a body chopped into pieces again and headless.

“Look for the head. This crime is getting even more gore than we expected.” First DIP inspector said to his partner while he was checking the chopped body.

They were looking around and studying what type of monster who would do such a thing until on the end corner of the dark alley, his partner found the head. They began to bring the body parts together to check some marks that the monster left when it killed its prey. They were examining what they can in the crime scene before making it to their laboratory. This crime was very delicate that no human can handle without any help from DIP’s.

As they were dealing with it, another siren alarmed the DIP headquarters which made Luna uneasy because the alarm this time was totally code red which meant that the DIP members were in a critical situation.

“Is that Ashlyn?” Luna looked at the critical map where the code red was alarming and she was right. Ashlyn was there when the monster crossed the alley and now they’re having one on one battle.
