Epilogue

It's been 15 years since Raika was given a new life in the DIP headquarters and she kept learning even more. With everyone’s help she managed to rank up into three stars along with Ashlyn and Luna since they were the only team that could handle difficult jobs recently and they were growing strong. But even supernatural entities like them, need some vacation.
“Rai~ka…” Ashlyn sing-songed her name before hugging from the back.
“Where do you want to go?” Ashlyn asked her before giving a sweet kiss on Raika’s shoulder.
“Hm, I want some decent coffee.” Raika answered which made Ashlyn pull away.
“Seriously, just coffee on our vacation day? Are you serious there’s nothing else you want?” Ashlyn asked which made Raika giggles and Luna laughed out loud.
Ashlyn was confused over some little details that she didn’t get at all.
“What so funny, Luna?” Ashlyn asked since she really didn't understand the smiles on their faces.
“Oh nothing, Ashy. I better get going. Anyway, Rai, buy me that frappe.” Luna reminded Raika about something that she promised Luna at their previous job.
“Sure do. Let’s go before it’ll get a full pack.” Raika replied to Luna before turning to Ashlyn.
“Seriously, what's going with you too?” Ashlyn asked with a pouting lips since she really still didn't get what they agreed on. Not to mention that she already prepared some surprises to Raika for their two weeks vacation.
“Just go along with the flow. I bet Raika will be happy with that. Bye, love birds.” Luna chuckled before waving her hands and left them alone.
When Luna left Ashlyn office, Raika took her black motorbike jacket and tossed the dark grey one to Ashlyn. She might not understand everything but she got along with Raika for today’s plan and drove themselves to the coffee restaurant that they went before.
“I miss this aroma.” Raika said as she entered the shop.
“Be honest with me, why here?” Ashlyn asked directly which made Raik smile.
“This place was the place I saw a very charming and fairlady that I’m with now. She’s always there whenever I go into some place but never has the guts to talk to her. I might be the first person to see you here since this wasn’t the resto bar where we speak to each other. This coffee restaurant was the first shop since I did some night jobs being a night robin.” Raika explained but whispered the last part since it was a secret that nobody knows about.
“I take my night routine here, to gather some intel, to observe and plan. But since I’ve got a decent job lately, I rarely do them so here I am with you guys.” Raika continued that Ashlyn was taken back since she never realized that this place was memorable to the person in front of her.
“I took you here to share some part of my life before crossing paths with you. With this booth that I always sat on before, now, I’m with you.” Raika continued which made Ashlyn nervous over something she didn’t understand.
“So I’ll be bold with you right now and spend everything with me.” Raika proposed to Ashlyn which she didn’t see coming since they were dating for fourteen in a half year. Technically it's their fifteen anniversary since they’ve got their first star rank half a year when Raika came in DIP.
Ashlyn was lost for words but when Raika showed the simple silver rose gold couple rings, tears suddenly began to show up and a nod as for her answer.
“Yes. of course I will.” Ashlyn finally spoke up before Raika went to her side and put the ring on the left ring finger. Applause echoed throughout the coffee restaurant while Luna and the other DIP knew about the proposal and were filming it. Actually, they were mostly filming the first tears that Ashlyn finally showed.
As the celebration was being shared among new found families, happiness was indeed reflected into her life once again. She might have died from her old shell but being reborn into new life to help innocent one was more meaningful to her. Even being a chosen wielder of the mythical-legendary bow and arrow named piercer, made everything in her turn dark and light. She’s the Piercer vessel and the partner of the demonic warlock; her newly named echo throughout the DIP headquarters as Raika Knightly known as the deadly and powerful, Robin the Piercer.
