DIP: The Piercer (complete - TO BE EDIT)

Luna was pissed off and worried about Ashlyn since she was the only one who can act as their leader-supervisor whenever they're facing tripled-S rank monsters. Not to mention that Ashlyn was one of Luna's trusted friends in the quarters. 

“Get the CCTV footage around Ash.” Luna ordered the DIP field security which some of them did.

With the use of CCTV cameras around the area, they managed to get to see what was really happening to Ashlyn. It felt like watching a live action movie on a big screen though it was soundless. The fight between this boar beast and Ashlyn was too intense like they were fighting for their lives but Ashlyn was still not using her full power. She was reaching her limit and making her body started to feel the pain.

“This can’t be good. She needs some backup.” Luna began to worry over Ashlyn's situation.

“Negative, Luna. Everyone was deployed around the town to keep peace and only S to SSS rank can face a Triple-S monster.” One member of DIP field security responded to Luna.

“THAT'S BULLSHIT! Are you sure everyone was out there?!” Luna shouted out of worry over their leader-supervisor and a friend.

“Yes, Luna.” Same guy responded calmly to her burst.

“f**k! Ash needs help, this time she won’t be able to survive if that monster went full force at her. She’s reaching her limit.” Luna stated to no one since she can see the flow of energies from both parties and Ashlyn was losing her control. One of Luna’s abilities was to see energy flows of a monster or a human.

“I’ll go.” Raika suddenly cut the silence revolving around which made everyone who heard it were  surprised.

“NO! Of course you can’t, Robin! You’re not ready yet.” Luna almost shouted as she watched Raika go to the gadgets' station. 

“That’s the thing, you won’t know if I’m ready if I am stuck here. Just guide me which way I go to get there in no time.” Raika calmly reasoned to Luna while gearing up herself.

Luna was just studying Raika’s movement and the flow of her energy which made her sigh in defeat. Raika was already made up her mind and so determined to help Ashlyn with or without anyone’s approval.

“Fine, just put this on your ear and please be safe.” Luna said as she lent her a communication device that made Raika put it onto her right ear.

“Yes, master.” Raika smiled before leaving the DIP headquarters that was located deep underground.

On her way, Luna was guiding her from the DIP headquarters and with Raika fast driving experienced in her senior year, she immediately got nearer to the location where Ashton and the triple-s monster were. 

“Listen, every DIP member on the field, this is code Tamer speaking. I sent a Robin to code Ash's location. Don’t interfere but keep on watch. We must catch that Triple-S monster.” Luna announced to everyone on the field which put pressure on Raika.

“Seriously, why do you have to announce that?” Raika asked Luna who was smirking at the headquarters.

“Well Robin, this is your first crime scene so better to think wisely since it was triple-S.” Luna answered but reminded Raika about her first encounter with a monster. Partially alone.

“I get it. So, what task I must do?” Raika asked while watching those two fought like there’s no tomorrow.

“Your task is to take Ash safely and leave that monster to the DIP sniper, understood?” Luna instructed her task while getting out of the car.

“Copy that.” Raika responded before looking around and made a run toward an abandoned building. 

As she was running up the stairs, she saw Ashlyn fall on the ground catching her breath and barely moving. Raika groaned at what she saw and kept running up to get a nice view of them.  Raika got a nice view and now she understood why Ashlyn was getting weaker. Ashlyn has a deep wound on her stomach and she was bleeding a lot. Raika was getting pissed but when her eyes finally got the full sight of the monster, she can’t believe that she was finally seeing a supernatural entity.

“Robin report, what do you see?” Luna asked her through the ear plug since she cannot see clearly from the CCTV footage anymore.

“Oh! It’s a…hm…human panther with three spiked tails…and it was seriously hideous because of the bloody sabertooth fangs. Seriously, it's disgusting and nothing like in some novel descriptions.” Raika responded while staring at the monster who was roaring at Ashlyn. Dipping blood was spluttering because of the roar. Gross. 

“Welcome to our world. Anyway Robin, look for any way out there before getting Ash.” Luna instructed Raika.

Raika looked around to see some way out but nothing. There’s no opening.

“Negative. There’s no opening.” Raika responded before she decided to go up to the fire exit stairs.

“Okay, I’ll check the map here.” Luna said as she studied the area in the map which led to a dead end. Its frustrating Luna.

As Luna tried to find a way out for them, Raika finally reached the top of the abandoned building and started looking around. She felt the wind blow in one direction which made her follow until her eyes finally landed on a perfect place for a navigation spot. Raika fast before jumping like an extreme jumper to another building. She might have stumbled from her landing but as she got up onto her feet, she can finally see things clearly now. Raika has the perfect view of the triple-s and Ashlyn before she call Luna.

“Code Tamer. Where is the exact location of the DIP sniper?” Raika asked while she was preparing her gear.

“From your right, one south-east and two at the east building. On your left, three on the west rooftop building and two under your feet.” Luna answered.

“Good, tell them, to cover me and Tamer, please prepare an ambulance behind the north building.” Raika stated her plan which made Luna confused.

“What are you planning?” Luna asked as she pinned every point of the location of the DIP snipers, Ashlyn and Raika.

“Making an escape route. But I’ve got only one shot.” Raika seriously said which made Luna smirked before nodding off.

“I’ll make it count.” Luna approved Raika’s plan and she even made the call for the DIP medic to stand by.

As Raika got everything settled, she took a final look from different angles to which she’s going to make a route. She took a deep breath before shooting a red flare in the air to alarmed Ashlyn and the other DIP members around the scene.

Raika moved in such speed that no one could see then a firing gun shot started to dance toward the monster. The monster was startled as it tried to look where it was coming from but with Raika’s speed, it saw nothing. The shots were like spiral fountain coming down and out of every building around them.  Raika kept firing after reloading the magazines till she made it closer to Ashlyn on the ground.

“Ash!” Raika shouted while shooting at the monster who had been held back from its spot.

Ashlyn looked surprised but at the same time proud of how remarkable Raika could be. Raika totally knew how to think quickly whenever it was needed. She helped Ashlyn for a second but the monster began to be pissed over that gunshots and shifted its aura to a raging one. It was now focusing on them.

“Robin, move!” Ashlyn ordered but Raika couldn’t careless over it instead she tossed Ashlyn to the side before the sharp claws of the monster hit Raika.

“RAIKA!!” Ashlyn screamed but it was too late and it pissed her.

The anger that was raging inside of Ashlyn was triggering the warlock power resting inside of her but before she could, a very powerful lightning suddenly pierced in between her and the monster. For some reason, the monster was stunned like a frozen stone on his attacking stance.

Ashlyn looked where the shot came from and she was shocked to see it was from her – Raika. She wondered how on earth did Raika draw that kind of shot or even managed to walked without having any scratches from the hit earlier.

“How did you do that?” Ashlyn asked when Raika rushed back to pick her up.

“Don’t know but I thought of making him frozen to the ground, so we could make some time to escape.” Raika replied while they were both walking away from the scene before it began to move again.

The shot of Raika was just one arrow but the energy of it was ice-cold that can make anyone freeze on their spot like what happened to the monster but it has a time limit. Ashlyn partially looked at the scene, she noticed the arrow was beginning to dissolve and the frozen state of the monster was also beginning to crack down.

“Tamer, we’re out.” Raika reported to Luna who finally felt relieved from that report. Everyone in the quarters are also rejoicing from the heart pounding task that Raika just performed.

“Good, the medic van was waiting there already.” Luna responded before slouching on the seat at the headquarters.

When they reached the van, it was a good thing that they got out before the monster finally got free from the short frozen state and roared. But the roar was cut out when a tranquilizer hit it and the monster was caught.

On their way back to the headquarters, the medic that was dealing with Ashlyn’s wound but it was not helping her heal; instead it was getting worse – too painful. Ashlyn was in agony that made Raika snapped from watching aside.

“Move.” Raika demanded which made the medic doubt but Raika’s right eye changed into some bloodthirsty dragon.

When they gave way for Raika, she immediately held Ashlyn wounds that made her in pain even more but she can tolerate it. As she touched her hand, Ashlyn looked at her then the pain began to fade. Raika leaned forward as if they were about to kiss but instead it was their forehead. Both of them feel each other’s energy before closing their eyes.

As they did that, their energy began to clash with each other like it was fighting dominance. The medic was shocked at what they were witnessing on the ride. Both dark energies coming out from them were both hot headed and dominant but as it began to sync, Ashlyn began to heal faster. After that, Raika looked at Ashlyn before pinching her nose that made her sit up straight while touching her pinched nose.

“What the heck?!” Ashlyn irritably said to Raika who was slightly smiling to what she did.

“That’s for making Luna worried.” Raika replied that made the others laugh since it was true; she indeed made Luna worried.

“She knew me…well; I’m going to apologize later if I remember.” She chuckled which made Raika smacked behind her head that made the others in the van laugh even more.

“You’re getting violent girl.” Ashlyn complained but the smile on her face didn’t flatter because of Raika’s loosen up around the new environment.

“I know.” Raika flatly replied to her who just shook her head in disbelief.

When they got back and unloading the van, Luna welcomed everyone but the welcome for Ashlyn was indeed a big or huge combo of roundhouse kick, uppercut punch and hurtful slap on the face. Ashlyn deserved it for worrying her too much. That's why she didn’t fight back except blocking them apart from the slap that she didn’t see it coming.
