DIP: The Piercer (complete - TO BE EDIT)

Inside the training room there was no one around doing their training since it was 5 in the morning. Both Raika and Luna do some warm-up exercises then meditate as cool down before. Luna suddenly felt some chilling tension coming out of nowhere. These chills weren't very friendly, it was like taking every fear hidden deep inside of one heart or soul. Luna tried to shake them off her shoulders but no. The chills made the training field clouded by darkness and made the lights static like in any horror film. She wanted to run but beneath those darkness and chills, Luna felt some faint warmness coming from Raika. She saw those darkness and chills were coming from her as well but instead of being a killer on the move, Raika’s aura was more controlled. Luna smirked proudly over the newbie’s improvement within just a night. Realizing that made Luna excited about how Raika will evolve through her training session. Luna clapped her hands that made Raika look at her and they both bow to each other.

“Try to kill me and my beast by 1 percent of your power.” Luna started as she also summoned her three star wolf. 

As if on cue, Raika released one percent of her energy through her whole body and her right arm started to glow. She liked what’s happening then she increased it to two and her energy formed into a weapon covering her fists. 

“Knuckle gloves...interesting.” Luna thought to herself when she saw it formed into Raika’s fists.

Raika smirked to her improvement then began to attack Luna who easily dodged the visible attack of hers. All Raika can do within their first minute of combat training was attacking by fits and it was a bit getting into her.

“Lesson 1: Never forget to calm yourself whenever you’re in any form of battle.” Luna suddenly taught which caught Raika’s attention. She calmed herself down while attacking Luna.

“Lesson 2: Study your opponent carefully since you’ll never know when a surprise attack or counter will occur on or before the battle even starts.” Luna continued while dodging Raika’s physical attacks.

Luna smirked on how quick learner Raika was. But to Luna, it was still too visible to read that Raika was planning something.

“Lesson 3: Poker face. Never let your opponent see or even sense that you’re planning something. If you do, you’re dead.” Luna continued her teaching but when she finally strike, Raika was too late to block. 

Raika was hit solid through her face which made her stumble a few feet away from Luna’s position.

“Lesson 4: Always be on your guard.” Luna taught while Raika was standing up from being thrown a few feet away.

Raika wiped some taint of blood on her cut lip from the powerful punch of her trainor. As she regained her composure, Raika immediately shifted her aura from defeat to clueless one which made Luna wonder. Luna prepared herself and summoned another beast for support since she doesn’t know or even can read what Raika will do this time around. Then their training resumed.

Raika did exactly what Luna told her and she’s freaking good at it. She immediately applied the first lesson, she calmed herself while thinking carefully as she kept attacking Luna. Luna was surprised on how Raika easily applied the first lesson without being distracted by her beasts. Raika’s focus was to defeat her even though the two beasts were attacking her as well. She either dodged them or counter their attacks but mostly, Raika was gaining some steps closer to Luna. Luna was on guard since Raika was shifting gears like from lesson one jumped to lesson three or from poker face to being reckless attacker again. 

“She’s mixing things up.” Luna thought to herself while dodging and blocking some unpredictable attacks from Raika. They were coming everywhere.

Luna changed her tactics from doing defensive stunts to offensive but before she could even bring it up, Raika’s shifting aura already did the same thing. Just in different approaches; like Raika’s fists were her offensive ones while her body has the defensive mechanisms. Realizing how quick Raika was, she decided to upgrade her two beasts’ strengths to level four which Raika noticed. She swiftly moved away from Luna then attacked the two beasts head on. Luna’s eyes began to widen to what Raika did because she faced level 4 beasts head on even though Raika’s energy was just on level two. 

“She’s facing three star beasts with level 4 in strength and power...she reminds me of Ashlyn.” Luna thought since Raika was changing blows from her two beasts.

Luna wanted to hold back but when she noticed the eyes of Raika, they were indeed ready to kill. Luna decided not to let her beasts face Raika’s unique ability that she was sensing. Instead, Luna jumped in and faced the newbie with such power of a full pledge DIP member. Luna shifted to her tamer mode which had her pointed wolf ears, sharp claws while holding a horse whip and her eye that was covered with patch was now a red dragon’s eye. Luna was releasing such a deadly tamer aura but Raika didn’t feel anything from it and their third cross began.

On every huge blow, intense fists and kicks countered each other as equals. One newbie in training unleashed high leveled skills that matched her trainer’s power. Their training was so real which made a great impact to activate the fire alarm within the training facilities. With the non-stop alarm, everyone who stayed at the DIP headquarters was alarmed. They all went to the training field since the alarm was coming from there. But before they could even take a peek, an intense crumbling began to echo through the hall. They went to check it out and to their surprise, they saw nothing but dusty fog. But as the dust slowly faded, the entire training field was in total chaos. Walls were cracked or broken even floors are no exception or some pipes were also wrecked which explained some water rained in the entire field. Raika and Luna were panting but what caught Luna’s attention was Raika’s bleeding.

“Raika, your tattoo...is bleeding.” Luna told her that made Raika touched. 

As Raika looked and felt them, she began to feel such darkness of greed, fear of failure, rejection, loneliness, and sorrow of loss. When those negative energies suddenly emerge from her, coldness wrapped around violently and made her skinless.

“Too much…” Raika mumbled as she tried to control them but she can’t, yet.

“Raika!” Luna tried to call for her but she was getting too deep within her dark powers.

Darkness was eating her bit by bit which made her knees weak and fell on the ground. Raika was panting hard like it was her last breath. She was even quivering because of the chills around her until somewhere deep within her whispered that she can do it.

‘Take it. Make it. Use it. Own it. Or else die, if that’s what you want. Let them eat you to death.’

As Raika heard those whispers from someone familiar, her dark energies were being covered by some dust. It was swirling around her powers like it was helping her. Luna noticed the sudden dust around Raika and she took the liberty to snap Raika’s attention.

“ROBIN, LOOK AT ME!” Luna shouted Raika’s code when she was able to reach her face then forcely put her forehead to Raika’s.

“Please, look at me.” Luna's soothing and pleading voice snapped Raika from going berserk.

“L-Luna…” Raika mumbled which made Luna chuckled then kissed her forehead.

“I think that's the end our training for today and we need to look at your well being again.” Luna gladly smiled at her but to Raika, she felt sorry for making Luna worried again.

Luna noticed the sad face from Raika’s face which made her sigh as she shook her head before giving her newbie a hug.

“It’s okay, I’m your trainer and while you’re on training I’ll be your tamer if you let me help you.” Luna told her with sincerity that made Raika slightly teared up.

“Okay…” Raika began to sniff but Luna just laughed at it then kissed her forehead then stood up to help her.

“Oh, you should also thank Ash for helping you control your powers.” Luna recalled which Raika was confused about.

“Did she?” Raika asked confusedly, which made Luna chuckle.

“Sure she did. I won’t be able to reach you if she didn’t help from controlling your powers.” She answered but it was still puzzling to Raika.

“Ashlyn can manipulate any form of ashes but that’s not the only thing she can do.” She continued to help Raika understand.

“Easy to compare her to an egyptian sand manipulator.” She chuckled to what she just said about her friend.

Raika nodded as if she got what Luna was trying to say to her. 

As the fuss in the field subsided, everyone who witnessed the ruckus went back to their respective room while some went to the cafeteria. But to Luna, she summoned her raven beast to report Ashlyn about what just happened there before she took Raika to the infirmary.

“Ashlyn found someone suited for her.” Luna thought while walking to the hall toward the infirmary with Raika.
