When the last response on the piercer, Raika went into frozen time where everything began. It might have looked in any historical medieval time but it has some twisted evolution overlapping each scenery till its present time. There she saw a person walking among the frozen people. It has a long monochrome mauve robe with such mythical power radiating around the mysterious person walking toward Raika. There she also noticed that it was holding a grand staff with silver falcon by his shoulder and there she knew who this mysterious man was, his name Merlin. “In every light there's darkness that follows…” Merlin stated which immediately made Raika’s tattoos glow while dark wind swirling around her violently. Maybe at her first time this violence frightened her but not this time around. She knew them well as her own negativities in life. “... and in darkness, there's always light hidden within.” Merlin continued as the violent wind came blowing in such peacefulness around her. Raika knew these feelings. She knew them since she finally accepted the fact that in every person there’s something lies within. It could be good or bad, it's just on how they will carry them to through their lives. She knew because there’s always hope in every darkness that sparked light whether it's big or small. “Perfectly sync like your great grandmother. Both blood possessed the line of amazons. Take the Piercer and use it well.” Merlin stated with a knowing smile like he was proud about the changes happening to his long time creation. Meanwhile, as Riaka spent her time in a frozen time, for a second, Ashlyn came rushing to where Raika and Luna were. She might be worried about Luna but seeing her being tended by her wolf beast, she knew that Luna will be alright. But she was more worried about the sudden shift of Raika’s energy. “Raika…” Ashlyn whispered calmly as she began to approach her. Raika heard Ashlyn’s voice almost next to her which made her turn her head to meet Ashlyn’s worried face. Raika knew that her time came ticking again as Merlin finished his short speech to her. She actually couldn’t believe what just happened within a few seconds. She learned something from Merlin about her having blood of the amazons but that’s not the right time for it.  “What will you choose, light or darkness, Robin?” Ashlyn asked out of the blue which caught Raika’s attention. Raika was taken back for a second which made her look at the quivering monster in front of her. She was thinking on how she would respond to Ashlyn's question till her power came rushing once again. Her power was too intense whether its good or bad, it was totally powerful to possess. Everything was getting out of hand around Raika. She might be in control but disturbing question kept revolving around her which made her power run to overdrive. ‘Breath and remember your resolve.’ “My resolve?” Raika asked her piercer as it whispered behind her mind. Raika kept searching for her resolve which led her into a dead-end. She groaned mentally which made her piercer laugh on her frustration and it was not helping her think. “Any hint?” Raika asked but no answer will be heard around her thoughts. She groaned once again and was eaten in such deep thought. Meanwhile, Ashlyn was feeling on the edge because her demonic warlock wanted to break free and claim Raika. But she knew better not to let it happen just yet. Ashlyn took a deep breath before releasing such powerful ash and let them swirl around Raika’s. She wanted to contain them until Raika managed to control them on her own but there was also under Ashlyn’s sleeves that she had to do for this moment alone. As her ash kept swirling around Raika and covered everything up, Ashlyn began to make a step closer to get inside. Inside the containment, two different strong winds kept clashing with each other, one was ashes and the other was darkness and lightning. It was like being the eye of a tornado and as Ashlyn fixed her eyes on Raika, she went even more closer before holding her arms. “Raika...” Ashlyn called out to snap Raika from getting deep into her clouded thoughts. But still nothing. Ashlyn was getting frustrated because she wanted to see Raika’s eyes once again. Those smiled that she really wanted to keep and those lips that she wanted to taste since the first time they met. Just thinking those things, Ashlyn was on the bridge of crying and begging for Raika to come back into her arms but she mustn't, not yet. She reached her hand to the neck of Raika and pulled them as their forehead touched each other. “LOOK AT ME!” AShlyn shouted this time and made Raika jolted before looking deeply at hers.   Within that short seconds of stop, the clashing of power came subsiding but there was still tension revolving around it but it didn't stop Ashlyn. As their eyes fixed onto each other, a sudden cursing pain started to crawl under Raika’s skins like she was being torn into pieces. Ashlyn didn’t let her go even Raika was screaming on the top of her lungs. Ashlyn was also feeling it and enduring at least for a brief moment until it was getting even worse than she thought it could be. She felt the cursing pain that was now engraving to their skins. It passed through their entire body until it fell down into one particular place and that’s their wrist, the infinity chain was shown. When the painful sensation of the marking was gone, Raika immediately moved away from Ashlyn who was kneeling and exhausted yet there was still a smile on her face.   “Seriously, that was way too painful. I should take note of that.” Ashlyn chuckled which made Raika in a confused state. “Oh, I’m Ash in case you forget and I am your certified partner in crime now.” Ashlyn introduced herself to the confused Raika - just in case. Not minding the intense wind around them vanished without them noticing it. “How can I forget, Ash? I’m just confused on how you managed to get through me…” Raika said with doubt running inside her mind. “Even you turned into some kind of berserk monster or whatever; I can still get through you because you let me in since the first time we met. Plus, if you believe in fate then it is.” Ashlyn explained before winking at her. Raika blushed but shook it off behind her mind and still wondered about something else. “I-I I’m lost…you still wanted me as your partner even if it could kill in the process…you’re really something…” Raika thought out loud that Ashlyn laughed and made Raika blushed even more. “To tell you this, my demonic warlock felt complete around you which was irritating on how possessive it could be. I mean, really…but it's cool.” Ashlyn said with a soothing tone which made Raika smile. “Possessive huh...like the way you flirt around me?” Raika asked with a playful tease behind her tone. Ashlyn just shrugged it off but still laughing before pulling Raika closer to her. Heartbeats of them were perfectly sync on how loud it beat for each other until a coughed cut them from being all mushy. “I hope you don’t forget I’m still here.” Luna sarcastically interrupted them. They just chuckled even though Raika was still blushing like a tomato. Raika turned her attention to Luna even though she knew that Luna’s wolf beast was growling defensively at her. It didn't stop her from apologizing to what happened.  “Luna...are you okay? I’m sorry.” Raika asked as she apologized before some tears fell down from her eyes. Luna chuckled before touching Raika’s cheek then smiled. “I am fine. I’ve got a healer beast. Plus, I’m a tamer. I also know how to heal.” Luna explained to Raika for her to calm down. “Sorry.” Raika only thing she managed to say to Luna which Luna laughed this time. “I’ve been through worse when I’m alone with Ash.” Luna said which made Ashlyn cough while she sealed the captured hostless monster to the bracelet. “So enough, but I am proud of you.” Luna praised Raika for not killing the captured monster and managing her power. It might be hundred percent full control but it was getting there. “But for now, it's better to switch you back. You looked hideous with those deadly arms.” Luna stated before flicking Raika’s forehead.  With just a blink of an eye, Raika went back into her human form and her power was being subsided. “She got some control over it.” Ashlyn said as she approached them. “Yes but her temper wasn’t there yet.” Luna smiled as her wolf beast helped her stand up on her feet. “Don’t tell me more training?” Raika asked while wiping her remaining tears out from her face. “Meditation for you.” Luna answered which made Ashlyn laugh. “Again.” Raika groaned as they began to walk back to their suite like they didn’t do anything there. Before they could open the door of the rooftop, Raika stopped for a while before looking deeply at the night sky. “What’s wrong, Raika - I mean, Robin the Piercer?” Ashlyn asked with a bit of a hint of teasing in her tone. Raika didn’t answer that but that’s not what bugged her for the time being. Somewhere within her she already knew the answer yet she doesn’t have any courage to face them for now but along the way, it will be done since she has them, especially Ashlyn. “Ashlyn...I think I could be both.” Raika said as she answered the previous question that Ashlyn asked her. She was smiling while looking at them especially, Ashlyn. The person who saved her from falling into the deepest part of her darkness.
