"Let’s keep going," Elira glanced back at Kael and me. "I think beyond this field we'll find something."
Normally, I would share her explorer spirit after all, we were werewolves; we had to find out about our surroundings first before anything else. But now was not the time. For one, I was already feeling very hungry and weak.
They were moving forward, so I decided I might as well join them if I didn’t want to be left behind.
"Do you think there's anything to eat around here? These trees don’t look like they bear fruit," Kael observed, looking up and around.
The words had barely left his mouth when a wind when a gust of wind passed over the place, making our clothes billow as it did.
