Sapphire’s POV The scent of herbs and smoke lingered in the air. I sat on the edge of the cot with the blanket pulled around my shoulders, watching Elira stir something thick and green over the fire. My ankle still throbbed, but that wasn’t what kept me restless. It was Kael.
