Rose.
I can’t help but watch everyone as they explain what I am. My mother was or is an elf, as no one seems to know if she is alive or dead. The people who are my parents might not be at all. I mean, it’s un-fathomable. I don’t look like the Luna and only slightly like the Alpha. Actually, the more I think about it. I really don’t take after him in anything. Short to his tall, I have strawberry blonde almost red hair to his dark black. I have green eye to his dark blue. All being said, I could take after my mother completely.
“Would you pay attention?” ember huffs.
“Sorry”
“You can’t cut your hair or dye it.” She says not that I know about trying to change its color. I love my color. But the cutting thing, yeah. It hurts my heart to cut it. I have an unnatural connection to my hair.
“Not unnatural, you're part elf. Makes sense to me.” Ember adds.
I just mentally roll my eyes at her. The more she explains, the more I understand. I think. When she gets to gifts. I think my heart rate is dubbed. Gifts? Like powers? What….. No, no. no. not happening. Nope. the more she explains, the less I want to hear. This can’t be happening to me.
“You wanted something good to happen. Well, this is that something.” Ember says.
“This is not good. Powers? Mate? My parents or not parents their escape. Being half wolf, half Elf. the fact we dont know if my parents are alive or dead. All of this is just too much, Em.”
Adam must have sensed my panic coming. I realize when his voice boom’s loud and clear.
“Everyone out. Now.” the power behind it makes almost everyone cower. I notice the only ones not affected are his parents, sister, and myself. Even not effective on them, they follow everyone else out the door. Soon he is in font of me.
“Rose. Just breath.” His hand lands on my face softly, but still makes me slightly jump. “Thats it.” When my breathing slows. Something I was not even aware of. “It’s ok, I know all of this is a lot to take in.” His finger wipes a tear from my eye. “I will be right here with you every step of the way, Mom, the Aunts, and my sister can help train you dad as well.” I point at him. Asking if he was going to train with me. He scratches the back of his neck. “I.. I am not good with magic.” He chuckles nervously. His cheeks even get a little pink to them. I can’t stop the small giggle that comes from my lips seeing him so cute. Waite cutie.
“Well duh Rosey, but I would be more inclined to call him hot with a capital on the H. Ummm.” Ember purrs in my head.
“What is wrong with you?” I gasp back at her.
“Nothing other than it’s been three days since we met our mate, and we still have not matted.” She grumbles at me.
“What…..”
“You know the dirty, the beast with two backs….” I stop her before she can go any further.
“Ember… Enough… I… Am not ready for that yet. I…..”
“Well, you better get ready.. I want him… and Blaze…”
“Not yet.” I must have an interesting look on my face because, looking back at Adam, his eyebrows are slightly high with a question.
“My…. My Wolf..” I say with a slight point to my head. He nods.
“I get it… All I hear is Blaze..”
“Wh.. what.. Is he S… saying?” I ask.
His cheeks get red again. “He wants me to mate you…” He pauses. “He is rather persistent.” Chuckles turning to me, his eyes show something, what I am not sure. Maybe lust. This gaze does something to me. My stomach jumps like butterflies flying around. My heart rate picks up slightly. I can’t help but rub my legs to gather as pressure builds in a place that I have never felt pressure before.
His nose flares eyes turning darker, “Ummm” comes a gruffer voice. “You smell so good,” He humps, moving so fast that I can’t help the gasp that comes. When he has me on my back. Before I know it. His lips hit mine. I am in utter shock until the shocks that I feel when he touches reaches a thousand. A sound I have never made before breaks my lips. Allowing his tongue to enter my mouth. The tingles are now shooting through my entire body. It feels like he kisses me for hours when he pulls away all too fast. Moving across the room at an incredible speed. Causing me and Em to both whimper a little.
“You should go.” He grunts out. Did I do something wrong? Was it bad? When he turns around, my eyes tear up. I can’t stop myself from running from the room. I don’t know where I am going, but somehow I find my way outside for the first time in years.
Without stopping, I turn to the closest trail. Running, I don’t stop until I can’t breathe.
“Em…”
“Yeah?”
“Was it bad?”
“Not that I know. I was enjoying every… Second of it.”
“So much has happened. What do we do?”
“Train, learn your power’s. Learn to fight.”
“But…”
“No. No Buts Rosey, we need to train. We need to be strong. Okay”
“I dont know. What if he only thinks he wants us? I just want to be free.”
“Okay, I will make you a deal.”
“What deal?”
“If in one month you are still not happy here, we will leave.”
“Can we find out about our Mother if we leave?”
“Yeah. I think we can, though I am sure Adam will help with that.”
“I am can’t trust him…. Not yet, anyway. Fine deal. One month after that we are gone. But if something happens, we leave sooner.”
“Deal.”
“I love you Em.”
“Love you too Rosey, now let’s head back.”
Turing, I slowly make my way back. I barley make in to the year, when a tall Blond from the other day marches up to me. “You” Her voice sounds like someone who at glass. All gritty and not attractive at all. I look up, confused. “You. Took my man. You little home wrecker.” My mouth drops. What is she talking about?
“Adam is Mine, do you hear me? We have been together for years.” I turn my head, confused. Adam told me he was never been with her. “Are you deaf, as well as a w***e who stills others’ mates?” Ember is getting mad in my head. At her.
“Put this b***h in her place Rosey or I Will….” She growls.
“I….” I stutter out. When a smack is heard, my hand instantly reaches up to my cheek.
“Okay, that’s it…” Ember growls and forces her way to the front. I can’t even hold her back. “How dare you rase your Hand to your LUNA.” she growls out.
She moves to grab her when the blond moves out of her reach but barley.
“I challenge you to the Luna Title.”
“Fine.” Em Growls out at her. I notice a crowd has gathered around us.
“Em.. What are you doing? We can’t fight.” She just huffs at me.
The blond… “Calling her b***h…” Em Growls
I just shut my mouth. She runs at us. Em doesn’t even give her a chance to hit her before she sticks her with a left hook. Making the blond. “I said ITS b***h”
Fine b***h, gets back up. Growling before Em can respond, she shifts in to a dirty brown wolf. f**k…. “Yes, you cussed.” Em mental fist pumps.
“Em……”
The b***h moves to attack. Since we can’t shift, all I think is this is the end. We throw our hands out in front, trying to block her attack, when out of nowhere it’s like a wall is in front of me, causing her to hit it with enough force to shove her back twenty feet. She slowly gets back up, turning towards me, running. This time hitting the in a visible wall with force. Causing me to let out a small scream with the sound of her hit. Resulting in the wall to drop. Blasting her back. “Do it again” Em Growls.
“I can’t,” I scream, throwing our hands back out again. Nothing is working. She is getting closer. Letting out a panicked scream. I ball my hands in to fist. Just now realizing Em no longer has control as something pulses in my veins. Out of know where water shoots from every direction directly at b***h Face… “He is MY MATE YOU STIPUD b***h FACE”. I scream out. As the water turns to Ice's spears, they are slowly moving in on her. She is whimpering
“Shift,” I growl at her. She has no choice but to shift back to her human form. Still growling at me with her head buried in the ground. My Ice moves closer to her now. She keeps growling at me.
“He is mine,” she growls at me.
I move the ice to the point it’s now piercing her skin. She lets out a hiss. “f**k you,” she growls. I don’t know what is happening to me, but I want to shove the ice further into her. So I do.
“Submit.” I growl. The ice is so close to killing her. And the scary thing is I want it to. Finally she does. The ice does not move more, also does not retreat. I feel tingles on my arms. “It’s ok now love, let her go so the guards can take her away.. Turning my head I slowly smile as everything fades to black. “Rosey….” I hear his panicked voiced
