She wasn’t in the window.     I was standing on sidewalk in front of the house, probably looking like a total weirdo to the neighbors, scoping out all of the windows for the creepy ghost girl.     No sign yet.     Still wasn’t feeling very reassured as I started the walk toward the house.     A nightmare.     This entire move has been a nightmare.     My dad already ruined his life but now he’s ruining mine too.     Nobody was home, the driveway empty, and I thought about just waiting outside.  I could just take a seat on the porch but I was hungry.  Downstairs might be fine.  I hadn’t seen her downstairs yet, just upstairs in the halls, bathroom, and bedroom.     Heading into the house, I half expected her to be standing there at the entrance, awaiting my arrival.  She wasn’t.  Th
