Halle was more quiet than usual during the lunch period, very focused on her work, but when she finally did start talking, it was about the game.     “You’re coming with me, right?” she’d asked, this big smile on her face.     I mean, no.  I didn’t want to.  “I don’t know.”     Her smile slipped a bit.  “Really?  I thought . . .
