Ethan's POV
I was infuriated that Irene made me leave my father just for nothing, to think that I thought something bad had happened to her. She fooled me and made me run through trees in the fastest way I've ever ran in my life. I couldn't deny the fact that I wasn't guarded, wondering what would have happened if I was attacked by my father's enemies.
I cared less about her words, even what she did to me had no effect on me.
Driving her back to the cabin was the worst idea ever, the drive was filled with her complaints.
We finally got to our destination, surprised to see that the cabin's windows were flung open. It seemed as if someone broke into the house to steal.
