"Father why would you want me to accompany you on this journey of yours?" I asked, knowing how long how I would miss staring at Irene's face and cuddling her in my arms.
"You must to be callous to have thought of that words to ask me. Have you lost your manners?" My father's words were not surprising, being a disciplined man in his shoes would surely have to display acts of self discipline.
"No father I mean no disrespect, I was only being curious" I stuttered as I bowed my head in shame, wishing that I would get him pissed and then he reject me from travelling with him.
"In that case don't let your curiosity get the better side of your mind" He advised as he stared at me, waiting for my response.
