Chapter 8
Ethan's P.O.V
Irene was able to take three weeks off from work, which was more than I asked her for. This strengthened my hope that she was going to try to make things work out between the two of us. My little mate was strong and kind, but I was still worried that some of the pack members were going to act towards her. If anything were to happen to her because I couldn't control my pack members, I would never forgive myself. I was pulled out of my thoughts when my phone rang. It was a call from my brother, I wasn't sure why he was calling but I think it wasn't for good.
" Hello?"
" Hey, Ethan, we need you to come back home".
" Why, what's going on?".
" There was an attack on the pack, something tried to enter the city and attack a couple of kids in the pack".
