Week 2 How to design characters?

    The protagonist that I chose to practice designing a character with was the female lead named Marguerite. 

Marguerite

    Marguerite's mother was a single mom who gave birth to Marguerite at a young age. Marguerite's mother was always busy with her work abroad, which was why Margurite grew up only with her grandparents on her mother's side. Marguerite never had the chance to meet her father, due to her parents' separation even before she was born. Marguerite only knew stories about her father that she heard from her grandparents.

    Marguerite's grandparents always told her that her father was an actor who shows up on television dramas and commercials. Marguerite's father was the beginning of why she always dreamt of being an actress. One reason was to meet her father, and another reason was that acting and modeling became her passion.

    Even though Marguerite grew up in a broken family, her grandparents never let her feel a void in her heart. They taught Marguerite how to be independent, strong-willed, courageous, and make her see the beauty of life. She was straightforward. She always knew what she wants in life. Marguerite was a goal-oriented person who never gave up on every obstacle that she faced. She never beat around the bush, always says what she wants and what she feels.

    Behind Marguerite being a goal-oriented person, she still knew how to enjoy life. Her friendliness and bubbly personality was the reason why she fit in the entertainment world. Marguerite was a known model and actress, a fashion icon, and a walking promotion in her generation. Everything she wore, everything she bought, and every place she has gone to become a trend.

    Marguerite was 23 years old. She had long curly dark brown hair that matches the color of her eyes. She had a resting b***h face, but her smile brightens up the whole place. She had a small face with an hourglass body shape. She stands tall and proud wherever she goes. Marguerite's appearance fits perfectly with the beauty standard of the people, which made her attractive to a lot of people.

Amelie

    She was Teneile's cousin and Marguerite's manager. Even though she was Marguerite's manager, they treated each other as a friend. She was one of Marguerite's closest companions in the entertainment industry. Even though Amelie was Teneile's cousin, it didn't hinder the bond between her and Marguerite. She was one of the reasons why Teneile and Marguerite met again after five years of not seeing each other. 

Mr. and Mrs. Grande

    Marguerite's grandparents. The two people attended to Marguerite's needs while she was growing up. The two of them were one of the factors that pushed Marguerite to pursue an acting and modeling career.
