Sophia’s POV The door clicked shut. And the sound echoed louder than it should have. I sat there. Frozen. Trying to process what had just happened. A part of me wanted to be angry. Another part of me wanted to run after her. And another part… Just felt tired. “She just wanted to ease the tension,” I whispered to myself, trying to justify it. “That’s all.
