The impact though was not what I expected. A hand grips my wrist, yanking me backward, and a large strong arm wraps around my waist, pulling me off the street. I crashing me something warm and hard. Blinking myself out of the daze, I find myself wrapped in Jay’s arms, crushed against his chiseled, heaving chest.
