When Storm informed me that Mira wasn't answering her comm, my world tilted.
"What the f**k do you mean she's not answering?" I barked, already moving.
My heart pounded as I shoved open the door to Julian's office and found out he wasn't there. It was some random asshole humping a woman.
He'd lured me away from her.
I dashed out, tearing down the hallway, down the stairs, into the grand hall, eyes wildly searching for her, but there was no sign of her.
