I told Sam about the blind date, and she was more furious than I'd been recalling it. She almost stormed out to go find him, but I stopped her.
"I handled it," I assured her.
Well... I think I did.
Anyways, she eventually calmed down,but I knew she was going to find him later. Honestly, I was just glad the blind dates were over.
As for Edward, I didn't see him again until Wednesday, when I was taking Roman to school. I had managed to avoid him perfectly until now.
"Hi," he said, waving at me as he got into the elevator. He was smiling warmly at me, and that only made my guilt increase.
