Chapter 2: The Hunt The pack set off into the forest, their paws padding softly on the earth. Akira led the way, her senses on high alert as she scanned the surroundings for any sign of prey. The other wolves followed close behind, their eyes shining with excitement. As they ran, the forest came alive around them. Birds took flight, singing sweet melodies, and small creatures scurried through the underbrush. The pack chased after them, their laughter and yips filling the air. Suddenly, Akira caught a scent - a rich, savory smell that filled her nostrils and made her mouth water. She followed the scent, the pack close behind, until they came upon a small herd of deer. The deer looked up, startled, as the pack closed in. Akira gave a swift nod, and the pack sprang into action. They chased after the deer, their paws pounding the earth and their jaws snapping wildly. Luna followed close behind, her heart racing with excitement. As they hunted, Akira kept a close eye on her daughter. She was proud to see Luna's skills improving with each passing day. The young wolf was quick and agile, her senses sharp and her instincts keen. Finally, after what seemed like an eternity, the pack managed to bring down one of the deer. Akira let out a triumphant cry, and the pack cheered in response. As they began to feast on the fresh meat, Akira turned to Luna with a proud smile. "You did well tonight, daughter," she said, her voice filled with warmth. "You're becoming a skilled huntress, just like your mother." Luna beamed with pride, her tail wagging happily. She knew that she still had a lot to learn, but with her mother's guidance, she felt confident that she could become one of the best hunte rs in the pack.
