What is that noise? I tried to open my eyes but they felt so heavy, that I couldn't. In fact, I feel as if I can not move my body at all. Like I am frozen in place. What happened? Am I dead? No, of course not. I don't think the afterlife has an annoying beeping sound going off every like two seconds. I thought about what happened and the last thing I remember was driving home with Matt from prom. I tried my hardest to move my fingers and eventually I felt them twitch to life. Oh good, I thought to myself with relief. I then moved to open my eyes again and slowly, they fluttered open. I squinted from the bright white light shining down on me.
