For the past 2 months since I transferred to MAWT I've gotten to know lots of people in the school and it's been fun I must say and I realized that being part of the school's band comes with a lot of benefits and popularity Im beginning to be so involved that Ive even begin to forget I write novels and didn't even have time to improve my friendship with Jesse and it was becoming so obvious.for the connection I have with Tracy it was still there although we didn't indulge in conversations but the looks she always gave me felt intense,don't be angry but I just want to be friends because I've noticed the lustful looks Jesse always her,he always looked at her from behind that he didn't even pay attention in class most time but that didn't affect him because he remained intelligent and smart and that's what I liked about him I always thought to myself that although he is distracted in school he always studied hard when he gets home I began having this thought from a day we were in class receiving lectures from the biology teacher I knew fully well that Jesse had feelings for Tracy and was really lust at that moment he always sighed whenever Tracy moved his eyes always followed her as magnets but still remained just a friend to her even if he wanted to be more but couldnt get bold enough to let her know how he feels for her.
let's cut the chase,we were in class and the teacher notice that he wasn't paying attention so she decided to test him she even walked to him,stood beside him and called him "Jesse what was my last statement"but he didn't even respond nor even notice someone was standing there I tried snapping him out of his trance as I already knew what was going on,I tried with my leg but up to no progress so I came up with an idea I obstructed his view with my body that when he came to his senses by then everyone's gaze were on him then he flinched and realized mrs hazel standing there,as he tried to adjust himself Mrs hazel continued "so it seems you are back to your senses and I already know you weren't paying attention to all I've been saying,I'm will ask you a question related to the topic.What is the primary function of insulin in the human body? everyone in the class were just staring at him thinking he will definitely fail some were already laughing silently and were preparing to laugh out loud,I already had the thought to console him when he gets in detention class but to my surprise that he was still calm then he finally answered "“The primary function of insulin is to regulate blood glucose levels. It helps the body's cells absorb glucose from the bloodstream for energy or storage, thereby lowering blood sugar. When blood sugar levels drop, the pancreas stops releasing insulin". I was shocked because I know he is correct but the class bullies laughed out loudly together with few other students in my mind I was like «take a look at these dumb fools laughing when a smarter person is speaking they can't keep quiet and listen no wonder they are dumb they shouldn't dare trying their bullying nonsense with because they won't like it as I have tried changing » Mrs hazel smiled and nodded "why are you laughing he is correct so I don't see any reason for you to be laughing ,sit down Jesse that good I know if I asked you another question you will still answer it correctly but whatever is keeping you distracted please keep it aside and focus okay you can do what ever after the class" she finished and smiled as she walked back to her desk continuing her lecture.tracy turned back and gave Jesse a thumbs up I was surprised does she know she caused it all?,I knew that gave Jesse butterflies all over because he kept smiling blinking his eyes,the bell rang and the class was over so me, Edwin and Jesse went out the school's garden because there we can get a quiet spot it was my idea to go there because we needed to discuss what happened they are both my friends right?.
After some few discussions I finally let the words out to break the discussion "so Jesse you have feelings for Tracy why don't you tell her?" Edwin's reaction came out shocked as he said out loud "which Tracy? the Tracy in our class? that Tracy? Jesse has feelings for Tracy? since when? how come I didn't know? did he tell you? and you did tell me?" he finally finished his truck of questions with a surprised look."calm down so many questions at once and he didn't tell me anything and how come you haven't noticed it's very obvious thats what caused the scene today in class he was devouring her with his eyes to the point he was lost but we have to solve that problem today thank God Mrs hazel didn't notice" I said teasing him as she became shy"it's not that I have feelings I was just admiring her hair nothing else" he tried to deny"....stop that,the more you deny it the more it get you into trouble because I know you won't stop what do you call it again? admiring her hair" I laughed and Edwin joined. "okay okay you are right I have feelings for her are you happy?" he finally admitted "..so it's true, you do have feelings for Tracy all this while damn I didn't notice". Edwin said "..so why don't you tell her about your feelings?... she might say yes to you I think she also likes you,it's either you tell her now or someone else does and takes her away from you then you loose your chance of having her as your girlfriend.." I added and this changed his mood and he suddenly became quiet for some seconds and finally spoke up "..but I know how to tell her I don't seem to know how maybe I'm scared or something or that maybe she could turn me down by say no because that will definitely kill me you see how I look at her right? I seem to be able to stop nor control it I really like her and the same time I don't want to destroy the friendship I have with her maybe she might get angry decide to break my friendship with her do you get it?" i was just watching him speak as he was contemplating "or maybe she might say yes and become your girlfriend ".i added to stop him "or maybe you could help him tell her about his feelings for her" Edwin blurted out "or maybe I could help you first with flora or you think I don't know you have feelings for her the way you always looked at her during rehearsals and always smiling with the perfume you recently changed just to gain her compliment which she did and you even went on with changing your haircut what you don't know is that she also have feelings for you as I heard her telling Gloria the other day,why do you think she always compliment you when ever you do something new with the lead guitar where did you think those compliments do come from? she also admire you when ever you weren't looking should I continue?" something I like about Edwin is he doesn't pretend "...wait minute you mean flora as in flora the one that plays the saxophone or is there another flora you are talking about the flora I know isn't into guy" Jesse said out of doubt "..but she is definitely into this guy I know and I have proof .. also confirm...". i retaliated, at this point Edwin has become the nervous one but filled with excitement as he asked "..wait are you serious? you are not joking right? does she really have feelings for me too? " he started again with lots of questions, "but wait how do you know all these are you some kind of relationship expert or something,do you have super powers.."Jesse asked in confusion, "..I don't know im just the observing type but it's all pretty obvious so its not hard for anyone to figure it out I'm even surprise that Edwin doesn't know about Tracy and you don't know about flora I'm really surprised.." i said. " maybe you should you should really help Edwin with flora first if it goes well the I will reconsider it then you can help me agreed?.." said Jesse before Edwin cut in "let's make a bet I will give you 500 bucks if it truly goes well and she agrees to be my girlfriend do we have a deal?" i was surprised with Edwin's offer though I didn't need his money to help him but I love a good challenge and there is no harm in making extra cash right?so I had to accept the offer "okay I accept it's a deal " we had a hand shake to seal the deal and we laughed, Jesse later added " I will give you 500 bucks too if you do the same for me and Tracy and it goes well but if it doesn't then you will have to pay me the 500 bucks in return for compensation,do we have a deal sealed?" i took sometime to think about the offer before agreeing "we have a deal" we had a hand shake too to seal the deal too.
"maybe we should give a name what should we call you,what do you think Edwin?" Edwin made a serious face scratching his hair with a hand under his chin thinking of a better name "..what do you think about the love doctor " he said laughing,and Jesse made the same posture made the same face and smiled "that's nice because he's an expert in relationships " he said laughing and Edwin joined him. "you know you guys aren't serious right?,I'm not a relationship expert I just want to help my friends out and I'm no love doctor so cut the crap" I said "..so when are we starting? its today right?" Edwin asked,"..yeah flora should be free by now she is probably rehearsing with her sax by now since tomorrow is our practice day this should be the right time it will be easier since we are friends and I'm confident she is going to be interested, she should be in the hall with Gloria I prefer you go but I going to get that 500 bucks and prove my point that I know what I'm saying I should get going and get this deal done,this is how it will go I will walk up to her have a conversation with her a bit then bring up the topic" at this point Edwin and Jesse were so focused listening like they were listening to a sermon on Sunday morning with serious face you needed to see their faces then I continued "..I will bring up the topic letting her know of your feelings after all she will definitely ask to see you so you can talk to her yourself that's something about girls that in aware of "...............
