Couple goals

I felt lonely after he left, but he had to go. I sat on the edge of my bed, thinking of what’s going to happen on Sunday. I looked around and it didn’t look like it was a home for newlyweds.

“Hi Mr Gary” I picked up my phone and called him. “I was thinking if you could do me a favour” I added.

“What’s wrong Danny?” he asked.

My heart dropped when he said it, my eyes lit up and I got happy Instantly. Living in the moment without saying anything.

“Hello?” He said. “Are you there?”

“Oh yes yes, I am” I replied. “So I was thinking we should spice up my house a little. Since there’s no way I can sell it now till after three months, and we might get visits from the CEO of beauty haven”.

“Okay…?” He responded.

“The house looks empty, it looks like only a lady lives here. Can you bring your clothes here? Some of them, so it’ll look like we actually live together” I asked.

“Okay, I’m coming”.

That was easy, I thought he was going to object.

“Oh, can you please take a picture with me? We need a wedding portrait” I asked, holding my breath. This is something I didn’t expect him to do.

“Sure, when I come, we’ll talk about it” he said before hanging up.

Two hours later, he showed up at my house, holding a school bag filled with clothes. My heart danced as I took the bag from him.

I began unpacking the bag and he brought a lot of clothes to his boxers and toothbrush.

“We need to get some things, like matching cups and plates set” I said while unpacking without looking at his face.

“Sure, let’s go” he replied.

It seemed a bit weird, he was agreeing to everything today, I was starting to think he wanted something from me.

“Do you need me to do anything for you?” I asked him after unpacking.

“No no, I’m good. Let’s go” he said.

I picked up my purse and we went to the store together. We picked up items like a couple and some workers in the store complimented how we look; like a real couple. We were done shopping and were about to pay when i saw someone.

“Oh My God, hide” I whispered, pulling him aside till we were out of her line of sight.

“What the f**k is she doing here?”
