Jocelyn wanted to leave when she came to her senses, but Caroline stopped her.
Caroline had a stomach ache suddenly, thus, she came to the hospital. All the doctors in Director positions had left after work. However, since Caroline felt that she was of high status, she would not let any ordinary doctor on duty to check on her. Thus, she called Elijah Lynch. Elijah immediately arranged for a Director who had gotten off work to come over. She was waiting for the Director, but she didn't expect to see Jocelyn.
Jocelyn stopped. She did not say anything. She looked at Caroline coldly.
"What a coincidence! Jocelyn, are you sick?" Caroline said.
Jocelyn didn't reply to her.
Caroline's eyes fell on the water in Jocelyn's hand.
It was obviously cold water.
