Pain flashed through Remington's face as her words hit him.
Jocelyn felt guilty all of a sudden.
It hadn't been long since Remington graduated. He still looked young and innocent. He was not used to pulling tricks and maneuvers like the adults did.
Therefore, Jocelyn couldn't bring herself to hurt him too much.

His smile was particularly attractive. It was like a sunny glow on a frigid winter morning, "Don't be angry. Just treat me as your friend. Can't you accept roses from friends?"
