Where the hell was Maple?
I roamed my eyes all around the place, but I failed to see him. I knew I wasn't mistaken— this was the spot where I left him, but now he was gone here. Maybe that was the reason why my ruby necklace lighted because he was gone missing.
I was about to leave the place when Maple's voice appeared out of nowhere, saying,
"Come here, Aleera!"
For the second time around, I wandered my sight all over the place but he wasn't around. But I knew that was his voice!
"C'mon, Maple, stop playing on me," I said."Where are you?"
"Look at your necklace and you will see."
I glanced at my ruby necklace as he said, and to my surprise, his face was there! I blinked my eyes how many times just to confirm if it was really him, and yes, it was him. No lies. No jok
