Sienna
“ You must have not seen so many Lycans before. Are you excited? ” Noah asks, his hand on my naked thigh sliding higher.
I hate myself for wearing a dress with a slit now. Sighing, I glance at his hand and then look away without making him notice the subtle move.
“ So? ” He asks, driving the car with his other hand.
“ I am not interested in Lycans. ” I whisper.
“ You are not? So you are not interested in me then? ”
“ No. I am only interested in you. You are the only Lycan I like. ” I smile, covering up the blunder.
He squeezes my thigh before sliding his hand up and down slowly. I eye his hand before rolling my eyes.
“ It’s the same for me, baby. I am only interested in you. ” He answers with another squeeze up my inner thigh.
I pretend to be shy and lower my chin in submission. He steals a glance at me before focusing on the road.
“ Why don’t you stay with me tonight, Sienna? You don’t need to go back. ” He whispers in the suffocating car.
I know what he is implying and it makes me sick with disgust but I nod shyly.
“ Can you call Dad and talk about it with him? ” I ask in a soft voice.
“ I will wire him the money. He won’t have any right over you after that. ” He replies distastefully.
“ That’s great. ” I mutter halfheartedly.
“ But you do want to stay the night with me, right? Tell me if you don’t want it. ”
As if Lycans care what breeder omegas want. I know the truth. He can’t fool me with this sweet talk. He will take me whether I want it or not.
“ I have no problem. ” I whisper, looking out the window at the house in the distance.
We are driving along a curvy road that goes round and round and hasn’t ended for a while. This is the first time I catch a solid glimpse of the beauty tucked in the stony mountain in the distance.
My eyes go round at the sight. It’s a house half hidden under the mountain, and half exposed to the world. Black stone, black tiles, and glass walls. One glimpse of the black beauty among the stony mountains has my breath catching in my throat.
“ Is that- - - ”
“ The packhouse. That’s where Alpha Kieran lives. ” He answers and our car takes another round curve before the house disappears from my sight.
The packhouse of the Shadow Lake Pack is the home of Alpha Kieran King. He lives in that house alone and only lets other pack members go there when there is an official event like today. Noah told me all about it when I lied that I was interested in his pack ways.
I just didn’t expect something out of a fantasy in the mountains though. I expected a cottage at best.
Now I am thinking - - - how powerful and rich Shadow Lake Pack truly is?
I know their Alpha owns some big real estate and investment firms. He has a hold on the surrounding city of Wolfgrove where the rest of his pack resides in a gated community. They are secretive because most of his pack members are Lycans and they like to keep their real strength a secret.
But just - - - what is going on around here?
The car emerges out of the treeline and I catch another glimpse of the beauty. My mouth dries as the yellow lights behind the glass walls become a little prominent and I see the people moving around.
“ No one is allowed to usually come up here. They get stopped at the start of the mountain because he owns it. Alpha likes his privacy. ” Noah reveals.
“ What is he hiding? ” I narrow my eyes as the house goes out of my sight once more.
“ He is the sole descendant of the original Lycan line. He has too many enemies so he likes to stay alone. This stops enemies from planting spies in his place. ” Noah shrugs his shoulders after shooting me an annoyed look.
So, he stays in that monster of a house with my sister alone?
I inhale a deep breath and sink back into my seat. How hard will it be to kill him?
My hand tightens around my clutch in which I have kept my scent suppressor. Then, my mind goes to the knife strapped to my covered thigh.
No matter how hard it is to kill him, he is dying today.
After fifteen minutes of driving up the mountain, we reach the house. The black metallic doors are closed but the guards see Noah’s car and open them.
I look at the two bulky guards that are the size of mountains before shaking in my spot. If the guards are like this, how big is their Alpha exactly?
Noah lowers his window when the guard with a beard approaches his side.
“ Who is she? ” He asks, his eyes on me.
“ My breeder. ” Noah answers cooly.
The word is like a taunt to me. I clench my hands into fists as Noah’s hand becomes a slithering snake on my thigh. I want to tear it off my skin and make him disappear.
“ Did you tell Alpha about her? You know he doesn’t like outsiders, Noah. ” The guard scoffs.
“ I am going to tell him today. ” The man beside me shrugs.
The guards and Noah exchange a few stern looks before they let us go. I exhale a breath and grab his hand before sneakily pushing it away.
“ Do I make you uncomfortable? ” He asks, clearly noticing my move.
“ I have never been touched like this before. ” I whisper as my emerald eyes meet his black eyes.
His teeth sink into his bottom lip indicating that he finds the answer to his liking.
“ You won’t be shy after tonight. ” He places his hand back on my thigh and gives it a soft squeeze.
I drop my gaze to his chest, ignoring the dirty look in his eyes. Is it a good idea to kill him too so he can’t have another omega after me?
I shake the question off before my mind gets stupid ideas.
I look at the fountain in the middle of the driveway. It’s made of black stone, and the clear water falling from the center gives a vibe of a black lake when it gathers inside.
Everything here is just so - - - breathtaking.
If only Eliana was not forced and her life was not in danger, I would have loved the fact that she lived here. This place looks regal and I would have been happy for her to be living like a queen.
The thoughts cause a wave of pain in my heart. I force a smile up my lips and look at Noah who is opening his door now.
I feel the blade pressing against my thigh and sigh. I have everything I need. I prepared for this day for a whole year. I will be fine. Eliana will be free. Noah will never get me.
He opens the passenger door and pushes his hand forward for me to take. I place my hand in his and get out of the car before fixing my dress on my legs.
It’s a crimson sleeveless dress that I am wearing, with a slit on the right side that reaches up to my midthigh. I paired black heels, a black clutch, and earrings with it. My light brown hair are falling in waves over my back while my face is covered in layers of foundation, blush, red lipstick, and smoky eyes.
Noah gives me a once-over look, his tongue darting out to wet his lips.
I pretend to be shy until he takes my hand and leads me up the flight of two black stone stairs and to the black main door of the beautiful mansion.
My breathing speeds up. We go through another security check where the huge guards ask Noah about me before we are in the hall where everyone is gathered.
The place is lit in yellow lightning. The glass walls I saw from the car give the view of the sea in the distance, sending me into another awed trance.
“ Stay here. I need to go talk to Alpha about you first. Then you can meet him. ” Noah releases my hand in the center of the hall filled with strong auras and expensive dresses.
