"Here, let me help you climb over", Arkyn offers me his hand as I climb over the old fence into the abandoned yard. He was already inside as jumping in was much easier for him and Dante as what it was for me and Kat. Sometimes we hate being short, but it is great for hiding in places where a six foot plus man with lots of muscle won't be able too.

The feelings between me and Arkyn became stronger by the minute. Throughout the day, we even tried to steal a kiss or two. My wolf is convinced Arkyn is my mate. I don't want to tell him and maybe get his hopes up. I can't deny the tiny sparks I feel when he touches my hand, or the high I get when we kiss, but I have to be absolutely sure.

As soon as we were done helping our parents with the move, we decided to take the boys on a little night trip.

We showed the boys the armoury for the first time, and the looked at us like we were crazy. "This- This is just the guns?"

Arkyn said in disbelieve. The look on their faces was like that of a kid opening his christmas presents and he got exactly what he wanted. "You think this is impressive? Wait till you see the rest" We burst into a laugh, knowing they will want to play with these sometime.

They turn around in shock, still pale white. "What do you mean when you said the rest?" Dante looks in Kat's direction.

I press a key on a remote, and the door behind me opened.

"No f*****g way!!"

We did have a few cases lining up for next week. Even though I wasn't keen on coming back here, I was hoping to show them what one of our recent cases looked like; that they know what type of life they are stepping into.

"Who's stupid idea was this anyway?" Dante grunted as he helped Kat over the fence as well. "It was mine, if you want to know so badly" I roll my eyes at him.

"Just shut your mouth, Beta" I spoke softly, hoping there is no one here. We just want to give them a headstart on what is waiting for them when they have to accompany us. "Have your weapons ready. We don't know what is waiting for us inside." I whisper, motioning us to split into two teams.

"Let's go." Arkyn and I head into the side door as Kat went to the back door with Dante following behind. Stepping into the abandoned factory building, the horrible stench of blood hit me. We sweep the floor and it's still the way it looks as we cleared it a few weeks ago.

Sensing no one around, I whispered into my radio. "Kat. Clear here. your side? over" I stood waiting in the darkness, for Kat and Dante. There wasn't even a sliver of light coming in, using our flashlights for a source of light. Arkyn stood behind me, holding a protective hand on my back.

"Clear on the second floor as well. Over and out." Me and Arkyn stood in the middle of the floor, waiting for them to join us.

"What fresh level of hell is this?" Arkyn whispered in my ear. "You'll see in a few seconds" I told him, feeling his anxiety as he stood behind me.

"Welcome to your new hell boys." Kat switched on the light and the place came to life. Every where we looked were rows and rows of hospital beds, covered in blood and other fluids. The drips were still standing where we left them, Dante and Arkyn looked like they wanted to puke. They both ran out of there, in desperate need of fresh air.

We both looked at each other, already used to the smell.

"You guys alright?" I ask as they came back inside. "Now that everything is out of our system, yes, we are fine. What happened here? This place looks bad."

It sat like this fora few weeks, so the blood has dried up already.

"You remember that vampire guy that attacked us on Saturday?"

"Yes, the leader right?"

"The leader. His name is Alaric Volkov. This was one of his side operations that we had to clean out. The police called us in to take out a drug ring, but turns out it was much worse as just a simple cocaine bust." I talked as we walked around. "One his men was in violation of his parole, and we got called in since they were not human. As you can see, this was the aftermath of our teams.

Many of them got way past pissed off and the men that was guilty got killed, to put it in a easy way. Some even lost their d**k in a very painful way, I might add" I went on explaining what happened as we walked around

"That was actually pretty cool" Kat added, "I will never forget when we tied them up and how Liv and the other females used blunt scissors to cut of their balls and then finally their dick.The screams were delightful I must shamefully admit." Kat giggled at the thought.

"Are you guys fine, like mentally fine, after every bust like this?"Arkyn holds me tight in his arms, basically too scared to let me go; Dante doing the same with Kat. "We are fine as long as we keep seeing the therapist."

"I wanted to bring you guys tonight to ask something. If you need time to think about it, you can. We are not going to pressure you into anything." Standing together, me and Kat looked at them. "Do you guys want to be part of this? I know it's alot to take in the first time, but I wanted to show you what could happen" I tell them. "Remember, we save the victims first and deal with the perpetrators later, how we want." My best friend joined in on my speech.

They looked at each other, their eyes glazing over. Waiting for them to finish their mind link, we looked around the makeshift hospital, remembering the horrors that happened here. The girls were put into a sanctuary that we built using the money from our bounties. We work mainly in Ireland, but we have teams all over the world doing this, and the pay is very good.

"We will be by your side. We want to be part of this, but can we ask something?

"You know you can ask us anything"

"Can we become part of your pack? Us two and Kai, I'll give over the business to someone back home"

""Deal" I give my hand for Arkyn to shake, and he takes it, but instead of just shaking it, he pulls me in closer, kissing me deeply in front of them. "We f*****g knew it!" They screamed simultaneously. "Calm down, Will you? I still want my ears to work, you know? I ask, taking Arkyn's hand. "But for now, we can go home. I don't want to stay here any longer than I have to. And I want a hot shower and my bed."

"b***h, same. I want my bath too. And food. We completely forgot to eat"

"We are starving as well. How does Mcdonalds sound? We are buying, double date?" Dante asks.

"Why not?" Kat and I said the same time, high fiving each other.

"Pretty sure everyone thought we were crazy. Did you see the way they looked at us? " Arkyn commented as we parked in the garage. "Do you blame them? Since when do you see two couples that order four milkshakes, eight sodas, three spicy burgers with large chips for each person and then an extra sixty chicken nuggets?" We climbed out. "Never"

"Exactly. Good night guys." I tell Kat and Dante as they walk up to their room. "Goodnight", they both answer.

"I don't think we should have eaten that much." Arkyn looked at me as he takes my hand while we head up to the my room on the third floor. "Why?" I ask, looking up at him. "Because I arranged something with that sweet Mrs Samuels earlier while you were getting dressed.

"Arkyn, what the f**k did you do?" I was getting nervous. How the hell did he find out my birthday is tomorrow?

"I did this" He opens the door to my room, revealing a picnic basket with a blanket on the makeshift bed in the living room area, full of my favorite snacks. The couch was made into a bed by pulling the underside of it out, with blankets and pillows on top if.

There was even a can of whipped cream and strawberries. My room is filled with candles and red rose petals, even on the bed. Following the rose petals to the bathroom, I noticed the tub is filled up with bubble bath, two wine glasses already filled, waiting for us.

"Arkyn, where did you get the time to arrange all of this?" I look in amazement at the setup that was going on. "I heard from a little fairy that someone's birthday is in a few hours" He leans in close to my neck and starts to graze his canines against my marking spot where my mate's mark should go, making me wet in an instant.
