Lena slept through the noon. When she woke up, the rain outside had already gotten smaller. The sky was still dark, but the light on the ceiling was on, so she wouldn’t feel lonely when she opened her eyes. There was nobody beside her on the bed, but she smelt the amazing smell of the braised chicken coming through under the door. She knew it was Vincent cooking his specialty dish Coq au Vin.
