“Brother why are you coming back alone? Where is Estrella?”
That was the first thing Rosa said to me the moment I walked into the house.
“She isn't coming back home tonight.” I answered.
“What? Brother, what did you do to her? I hope you aren't trying to punish her again? She hasn't recovered fully, so can you just spare her some slack?” she said.
“I am not doing anything to her.” I said.
“Then why did you send for her all of a sudden, and she isn't back yet?” she asked.
“Who isn't back yet?” my mum asked as she walked in with my dad.
“So Mum, Estrella and I were having fun earlier when brother here sent Zander to come get her. Now he returned without her, and he told me that she might not come back home tonight.” Rosa said, looking like she was about to cry.
