“Mate is here.” Rick said, making me quickly wipe my tears away.
I can't let her see me cry.
I turned to see her walking close to me.
“Why are you out of the house? It's late to be out here.” I said out of concern.
“Hey are you okay? I heard you crying.” she said as she sat down although there was a bit distance between us.
Shit she caught me crying. I told her she didn't notice.
“I wasn't really crying.” I tried to lie.
“Are you sure? But your face looks like you just cried. Although I don't want to have anything to do with you, I am still concerned, so you can tell me if there is something bothering you. It's just my human nature to care, not like I want to.” she said, looking elsewhere.
