"Alpha, sorry to interrupt but you called?" I turned my head to look at the person. It was a girl with long dark brown wavy hair just like mine. She was quite smallish.
"Yes, this is Adriane. Please show her to a room." He said, looking back at me. He stared me in the eyes for a while before something flashed in his own, he shut his eyes abruptly and when he opened them his cold demeanor was back.
"I'll go now." He said without looking at me again and left.
I sighed. He's so frustrating.
"Uhm, Adriane, are you alright?" The girl asked me.
"Uhm, yeah." I said giving her a forced smile. She smiled back at me. She had nice brown eyes.
"I'm Ramona." she beamed, holding her hand out to me.
I took it and I shook it.
"Nice to meet you." I smiled, genuinely this time.
