Chapter Twenty It's already six in the evening and Seokjin is still inside the boutique for his work. Jimin's parent is kind enough to let him work in here with the help of Jungkook of course. He already met Jimin's parents and they were so kind towards him. He's supposed to work until ten in the evening but they told him that he can go home at eight. He's thankful but he always makes sure to finish everything first since he doesn't want to waste the opportunity that they gave to him. Seokjin stood up when he heard the door opened. He's supposed to greet the customer but was stopped when he saw who are they, he immediately bowed and greet the couple. "Good Evening Mr. and Mrs. Lee." Ailee looks surprised when she saw Seokjin. She came here just to buy a few clothes. She also knows the Park family that is why she's always making sure to support their clothing line. "You can call me Aunt Ailee, Seokjin." Ailee said. Seokjin slightly bowed at her. He's still ashamed because of what happened last time. He cant thank them enough for letting him stay with them for a night. Though, he didn't gave them any explanation as to why they find him in that state. "I thought you're still studying?" Gray asked. Seokjin slowly nods his head, "I went here straight from school, Mr. Lee." He answered. Gray cracked a smile and gave the younger a pat on his shoulders acknowledging how hard working he is. "Anything I can help, Mrs. Lee?" Seokjin smilingly asked. Ailee nods her head and she started to pick some clothes with her husband's arm snaked around her waist. Gray doesn't even want to let go of his wife which made Seokjin smile throughout the whole time. "Which one, Jin?" Ailee asked showing the white and black sleeveless dress. Seokjin looked at the two piece of clothing then to Ailee who's waiting for his answer. Seokjin is sure that whatever color he will choose, it will still look good on her- advantages of being born with a beautiful face. "The black one?" Seokjin timidly said. Ailee chuckled and she put the dress that Seokjin chose for her in the pushcart. Seokjin is shocked by the amount of clothes Ailee is going to buy, it is actually full. "I'll do it." Gray said pushing the cart already when Seokjin attempted to do it. He bowed at them for the last time and let them walked towards the counter since he's not the one assigned there, he remained on the racks of clothes organizing it a little to keep him busy. "Seokjin..." The young man looked at the couple again and saw that they're already done paying for the stuffs that they got. "We're having a dinner. Can you please join us?" Ailee asked with hopeful eyes. She really wants to spend some time with the young man and get to know him more. Seokjin is a one interesting teenager and the fact that he tamed their playboy Jungkook amazed them even more. Seokjin looked at the wall clock and saw that it's just eight in the evening. As much as he doesn't want to reject the kind couple, he also doesn't want to leave his job behind especially when he just started. "Sorry but I still have work." Seokjin said. "We already called Soyou and it's fine, Jin. Please just come with us." Gray encouragingly said. Maybe it's because Seokjin reminds them of their son. The son that is still in their heart, the child that broke their heart into pieces and the loved one that they couldn't even get to hold. It is true that there is no way to forget about it because up until now and they're still grieving. They still keep on asking as to what they did wrong for them to suffer like this- to lose someone that holds almost half of their heart. "Please, Jin." Ailee let out a faint smile, Seokjin stared at the couple and let out a deep sigh. He cracked a smile and slowly nods her head at them. He excused himself first so that he could change his clothes first and get his school bag. He went inside the staff room and changed into his denim pants and dark blue sweatshirt. He also put his bagpack on his shoulders before going out of the staff room. The couple smiled when they saw Seokjin walking towards them already. Gray put his hands on the back of his wife guiding her out of the boutique with Seokjin following behind them. They went into a fine dining and the waitress immediately set the table ready for the three of them. Seokjin didn't say anything and just let the couple order for all of them. He's not a picky eater so it's not really a problem. "Im glad that Jungkook and you are friends." Ailee said while putting some food on her plate. "You just started working in the Park's boutique?" Gray asked. Seokjin nods his head after taking a sip of his orange juice. Gray leaned against his chair while looking intently at the young man infront of them. "You can ask us for a job, Seokjin." Gray softly said. Ailee nods her head vigorously. If having Jin as their employee means being with him for quite some time then it would be really fine with her. "You said your work ends at ten in the evening, right?" Gray asked. "That is hard, Seokjin. You wont be able to sleep properly and I amsure that you will have schoolworks to do which requires you to stay late at night even more." Ailee worriedly said. Seokjin is aware how hard it is to have that kind of job but it is actually better than being a stripper. He can work hard and it's just a matter of months before he graduate, he can surely do it. "What about your parents? Are they okay with it?" Gray asked. Seokjin frozed for awhile biting his lower lip as he met Gray's eyes. He let out a faint smile at the couple feeling his heart thumped against his chest louder. "I.. I don't have a parent." Ailee gasped and shut her eyes closed feeling sorry about it. She doesn't know because if she does know about it, she wouldn't ask. She's not that insensitive. "I grew up in an orphanage." Seokjin cleared his throat. That is an unchangeable truth about his identity. He is Kim Seokjin, an individual who doesn't have a parent and grew up looking for a love of a family. It's been a long time and it still frustrates him because he cant get used to it up until now. Talking about and just by mentioning that he came from an orphanage never fails to break his heart. "We're sorry about that." Gray said in almost a whisper. Seokjin looked down to secretly wiped a tear but of course the couple saw it but they decided to not even mention it. Ailee looked at the young man infront of them, she wants to give him a hug.  "Your parents will regret not being with you especially when you grew up as amazing as you are right now." Ailee smilingly said. Seokjin let out a small laugh and shook his head slightly not agreeing with what the woman said about him. "I doubt that..."
