“I can,” he sighed and shook his head. “But I should not. To be perfectly honest with you, there are too many of our policemen working what you might call both sides of the street. I have some men who I trust, but the more of them we get involved with this operation; the more likely it is that we will be compromised. For the time being, perhaps we should restrict this operation to just us three.”
