“You seem angrier than before, what’s wrong?” Cameron asked me as I sped off towards the hospital. I couldn’t stop thinking about that sergeant and the mean words he said to me. The more I think about it, the more I realize that something is amiss.
“Did Vinnie say anything about her plans to travel out of the country tonight?” I ask her, ignoring her question and asking mine instead.
“Not exactly, she doesn’t tell me anything about herself or her plans with that Hayley girl. But I did hear her talking to Kendrick on the phone, asking if she could visit his mansion abroad. I have no idea when she plans to go, she doesn’t trust me with information like this,” she responded calmly, putting on a thoughtful look as she tried to recall if Vinnie had ever mentioned her trip abro
