"How boastful," she muttered, but a smile played on her lips. A smile that unsettled me.
"It's not boasting, it's just experience. And that, darling, is what you lack. Look, I can even teach you a few tricks so you can seduce a man. That's how generous I can be with my contract wife."
What on earth was I saying? The idea of teaching her how to seduce another man filled me with irrational anger.
"You know, maybe you're right… and what I lack is experience. Even so, you'll have to convince me to accept your 'teachings.' After all, when we get divorced, I'll have to start a new love life for real, won't I?"
