"What is it?" she asked, turning to me as she slowly applied her lipstick. Her brow furrowed slightly. "I thought we were going to stay here longer."
"I'd like you to get to know my family better, but Alina has to go back to school and resume her therapy. And you… tomorrow you have an interview with the director of a hospital so you can return to your medical residency."
