When I walked in my apartment, my answering machine greeted me with a message from Neil. He apologized about the brush off he gave me and asked about my plans for the week. I called back and suggested dinner and movie at my place on Thursday.
Tuesday morning, Martin called and said he was going to be in town for business Friday. If it was fine with me, he planned to come down Thursday night. When I tried to reach Neil to reschedule, I got his machine so I left a message
Tuesday night, I cleaned so I could make a good impression; still no call from Neil. I hope he would not show up just as Martin arrived.
