Angel

Jake and Leo walked into the main room first, and I had to walk around them to see what was happening. I'm small ok?

    On stage there was a man holding chains, I followed the metal things with my eyes just to see this little creature laying on the floor. Her hair was as white as snow. Her eyes were beautiful deep blue and her skin which was covered in different colours bruises and cuts had still its albino colour.

    I could feel my guts turning inside me when I looked at this scene. Last year angels managed to convince our king to stop most of the slavery in the south and bringing slaves here is full on disrespect to the laws created.

    I watched as Jake stormed off with a fuming expression. I never seen him that angry before. I looked to my side and Leo was still there.

    "Leo?"

    "Yeah?" Now he was looking at me.

    "Do you have any spare clothes to give her?" He smiled and gave me a nod to follow him. To be honest I didn't want to see what would happen to that man. I know the royal family dislikes disrespect so.

   We walked back to the office I was just in and he started to dig through some clothes.

    "You know." He got my attention now." Jake always wanted to get you." 

     "What do you mean?" I was quite confused by what he was saying.

     "I mean since 2 years ago he has always been asking about you and only you. You know, like does she has a boyfriend. I mean he asked Aron everything. I was surprised when Aron didn't told you." You should have seen my face when he was saying that. I mean what? Jake Scarlett is interested in me. I mean that would explain why he always found a way to talk to me and why he always was staring at me.

     "Oh. I don't know what to say." He laughed.

     "Don't have to say anything. Just remember to make him work hard to get you." He now was giving me a warm smile." Do you think this will be good?"

     I nodded looking at a pair of shorts and a big oversized T-shirt. 

     We got back with the clothes just to see how Jake is punching a bloody corpse. It may as well have been as the man wasn't moving. Jake's fists were covered in blood and his white shirt was bright red. I was looking at those hands that just held me so gently but now they were inflicting pain on some monster. I looked away and grabbed the clothes and made my way to the stage trying to ignore the noises of breaking bones.

    The girl was thin I mean I was scared to pick her up. The chains were heavier than her. I looked at Jake and who was very busy beating the s**t out of that man, well if you can still call him a man. 

   "Jake!" I could see his fist stopping mid air and everyone's eyes on me. He looked up his once blue eyes were red in anger. I gulped.

   "What?" His voice was cold and deadly.

   "I need a key." I said not breaking our eye contact.

    He looked down still holding on that bastard throat and started looking through his pockets. At last he pulled a key out and threw it in my direction. With one smooth move of my hand I catch it. My eyes meet his again and I give him a little nod. He looks down and his fist flies straight into that asshole's face.

    In a few seconds I freed the girl from the chains and Leo caught her before she fell onto the wooden floor. He was holding her bride style and walked off the stage. I followed. We walked into a bigger room with a coach and a table within it.I'm guessing this is a staff room as there were few lockers here. He slowly put her down on the coach and walked out from the room giving me a free hand. 

   She was scared and weak. Her eyes looked at me with terror.

    "Hi, I'm Rachel. I will not hurt you." I smiled." I brought you some clothes." I slowly put them on the coach.

    She still was looking at me confused.

    "Why are you being nice to me. You are a demon." Ouch Angels can be so judgemental. 

    "I'm only ⅔ demon. So don't be so judgemental." I rolled my eyes. "What is your name?"

    "Amanda." 

    "That's a nice name. You should get dressed."

    "I can't." I looked confused.

    "Why."

    At this moment she took the rip shirt that was covering her broken body. There were two long scares where the wings were supposed to be but there only were two short bloody bones sticking out.

     "I'm in too much pain to put anything on them." I could see the pain in her eyes.

     "Ok, give me your hand." She gived me a confused look but somehow trusted me, as she places her hand in mine.

     I took a deep breath and concentrated on the thought of healing. I could feel my hand getting warm. I open my eyes to see her body healing. Bruises and cuts disappeared and on her back now were two beautiful white wings. I broke the contact away.

    "You are a healer and very powerful one."she was looking at me in shock.

    "Yeah,would you like to dress." I said as I was staring at her naked body.

    "Oh yeah." She jumped up and put the shorts and top on. "Thank you I feel better." She finally smiled.

     There was a nock and King Dominic came in with my dad and Leo. A confused look appeared on Leo and the king's face but my dad knew what I did.

    "Rachel I told you not to use that power, you know if you use it too much you can get hurt." He was worried. That's how my mom died. During my birth there were some complications and she used her healer power to save me.

   "Is she a healer?" King voice broke the silence.

    "Yes. She got it after her mother." My father explained.

    "Good some gone have to save the lad my son is still beating lifeless right now. Someone has to make sure he doesn't die." He said as he looked at Amanda. "Your father is on his way to pick you up. He knows what happened." Amanda looked happy about the news.

    "What happened with the guests?" I asked.

    "They left, I have few guys trying to get Jake off the guy to make sure he is alive." Leo said.

    "Ok take me to him." I said leaving the room and knowing Leo was tagging along.
