‘Abbey-Rose Miller and Jennifer Barrett. Come on down!’
Spotlights zinged across the audience, criss-crossing over heads. Bright lights flashed blue and white in a psychedelic symphony of colour and movement from the far reaches of the television studio. Fake smoke drifted from the edge of the stage, down to the first rows of the audience. Cheers and applause drowned out Jennifer’s scream.
‘Abbey! That’s us!’
