Valin's jaw clenched up. Unlike Dsa this was his actual queen. He debated whether checking her made sense or trying to have some form of conversation with her about his feelings made more sense.

Zelah was baffled by the approach he was taking to resolve the matter. “Deny, deny, and deny.” Was what she thought he would do but instead he was going to appease her.
