*I am running on the streets of Paris away from the devils that are following me, I am running as much as I can to protect my dignity from the vultures who wants to recreate my future but I won’t let them. I have to protect my dignity I can’t lose because everything is at the stake either it’s me or it’s them. Suddenly a car stops in front of me which stopped me in my track because of continuous blinking of headlight on my face. The people who were following me caught me by my arms and I am struggling and screaming at them to leave me but it all falls on deaf ears.

Then the car of the door opens and he came out*

Tringgggggggg! Tringggggggggggggg!

I woke up with the sound of alarm, why I am getting the same dream again and again. It’s been years I should forget that but why I am not able to forget, why these dreams are haunting me. Whatever happened with me takes away all my reason to live but I have to live for the people I love.

“Hey ayaina, what happened you looked tensed” Tasha  who is the short heighted pretty woman with blond hair asked me, she is the one who supported me in the bad times when I lost all the hopes even though I don’t have any relation with her but still she is the one who is standing beside me

“I am fine” I said averting my eyes because I know she can sense what is wrong with me

“Have you saw the same dream again” she asked me and I couldn’t hold my tears

“Honey please don’t cry, you have to get over that, you can’t live in the past. Today is very important day for you” she told me then I remembered and wiped my tears

“Today I will get my identity back” I said to her with full confidence.

“Ayaina aunt” there comes a voice of my cute angel of 5 year

“Hey love why did you wake up so early” I asked her and she rubbed her cute little eyes, she come and sit on my lap

“I want to wish you luck, mom told me that today is your special day” she told me in her baby voice

“Baby go and wake up your dad” Tasha said to her 5 years old daughter, when she goes I stood up from the bed and stood in front of mirror which is covered with a white cotton, I was going to remove it when Tasha put her hand on my shoulder

“Are you sure” she asked me and I nodded my head in agreement and finally remove the cloth from the mirror

In front of me there stood a woman who has a  mark on half of her face, this is the sign of my coward behavior and the woman whom I am talking about is none other than me. Yes I am the one who failed to protect me and this happens to me three years back on one deadly night. I don’t even want to remember that night because it is painful to remember

“Are you fine” Tasha asked me awakening me from going into memory lane

“I am fine and it’s all because of you, I don’t know if you people didn’t help me, what would have happened to me” I told her and she just smiles at me

“God sent us to you and nothing can happen to a good human being like you” she told me holding my hand, in these past years Tasha and her husband is taking care of me

“Thank you for trusting a stranger like me and thank you for giving me new life” I said to her with moist eyes

“No more thank you” there comes a voice of Aron who is a well built man with a sharp features and he is like a big brother to me even though he is of same age to me

“Good morning sweetheart” Tasha kissed him on his lips, they both are the ideal couple and I wish to have a family like them some day but I know this can’t happen in my life because I have another priority

“Are you ready Ayaina to start new chapter of your life”Aron asked me and I gave him my smile

“You are the most beautiful girl I have ever seen in my life and this scar cannot overshadow your beauty and remember one thing you always have our back” Aron said and kissed on my forehead

“Thank you guys and what if he finds me” I said with the scared expression because I am scared of that guy, I can never forgive his face nor his deeds

“We are far away from the city, he can never find you and if in any case he finds about you then I promise we will be standing in front of you like a shield” he promised me but I know they can’t protect me once he finds out about me

“Okay you guys go and let me get ready” I said and they get out of the room to give me some privacy. Aron is a famous businessman of Paris and Tasha is a simple housewife with lot of good quality, they are quite rich but nothing in front of him because he is the king of Italy and no one can stand in front of him. I just wish to god that my path never crossed with him because this time no one can protect me.

 I keep aside all the bad thoughts and go to take a bath; every day of me is a living torture because I can’t vanish the memory which happens to me few years back. I just pretend in front of Tasha and Aron that I am healing but only I know that I can never be heal. I remove my clothes and open the shower and stand under it, water is falling over my body and I close my eyes

 I can do it, I have to live my life again, and my destiny will not play with me again. This time I will write my own destiny with my karma. Today is going to be the start of my new journey

AYAINA P.O.V

I get out of shower and change into loose black top paired with black pants and covered my half face with a scarf because of the scar and headed out of the room to have breakfast. The house in which I am living is quite big; I am not used to living in such a big house. It’s been three years but still I got lost in the house, finally with lot of struggle I reach the breakfast table

“Ayaina, did you again got lost” Tasha said to me and passed butter and bread to Aron

“Aunt, always get lost and come late at breakfast” angel said in her baby voice

“Sorry baby, next time I will come on time” I said to her and take a seat beside her

“I make your favorite fried egg avocado toast” Tasha said and filled my plate with food and I started eating it

“After breakfast, I will drop you two at the ‘new life hospital’ because surgeon wants to take a look of your injury and then we will start treating you” Aron said to me and I nodded my head

“Daddy why aunt is going to doctor” angel asked his dad and we all stop in between having our breakfast

“Baby because aunt has a slight fever” Tasha said and angel eyes welled up with tears, she stood from the chair and come in my direction

“Get well soon aunt, I love you” angel hugged me and I am so happy to see her affection

“I love you too baby” I told her and we both hugged each other

“Angel, go to your room and take your bag pack” Aron said to her and she rushed to her room.

Angel didn’t know that my half face is spoiled; she asked me once that why I always cover half of my face with scarf then I told her that it is custom of my family but that day I cried a lot for lying to a small and innocent kid.

“Ayaina are you fine?” Tasha asked me and before I could say anything Aron interrupts

“I will make everything fine for my sister” he said making an eye contact with me

“I am waiting outside in the car, join me when you guys finish your breakfast” he said and left outside

“I am going to take my bag” Tasha said leaving me all alone. I am scared of going to surgeon

 Because in the past 3 years I didn’t left this home and today I am going out, I am scared of seeing people reaction towards me but I won’t let that effect me. I have to be strong for this family that supported me when no one is with me.

Angel and Tasha came out with their respective bag then we all go outside and sit in the car. Tasha sits next to Aron on front seat whereas angel and I sit on the back seat. First we drop angel to her school and then we move towards the hospital

“Aron thank you so much for accompanying me, I know you have important meeting with today but still you came with me is really appreciable” I said to him and he looked at me through rear view

“You are my sister not by blood but by heart and I really care about you, I can’t leave you when you need me the most” he said and I smiled that I have people caring for me. When the people of my blood left me alone to die, these two are the ones who stood by me

Finally we reach the ‘new life hospital’. I am very nervous from inside; they both get out of the car whereas I am still rooted to my place

“Ayaina come out” Tasha said to me and I gather my courage and come out

“Forget everything and just remember one thing that we love you” Aron put hand on my shoulder and said.

Then we enter inside the hospital, I am constantly covering my face because I am still hesitant to go out in public. Aron talk with the receptionist and she allows us to enter into doctor cabin. We enter inside and an elderly man in his 40’s sitting on the chair

“Come and sit” he said and we all three take a seat

“I study your case and it’s really complicated, the scar on your face is deep inside your skin and its really difficult to remove it so there is only one option left ” he said and I lost all my hope to get back to normal

“Doctor please help us, please give her new life” Tasha said to doctor

“One thing can be done but I don’t know if you guys agrees to it or not because it is really a big step” doctor said

“Please tell us, I can do anything to get back to normal” I kind off begged in front of him

“We have to change the structure of your face, we cannot give you the same face but with some slight changes we can give you new face” he said to us and I don’t know what to do

“This face is her identity, how can we change her completely” Aron argumented

“Who said we are going to change it fully, we will do only slight changes, I will give you an example her lips are thin but after surgery her lips will be fuller and her nose will get more sharp

, her skin texture will be same and her eyes will be same” doctor said to us

“I am ready” I replied before Tasha and Aron can say something

“Okay then let me check your face, remove your scarf” he said and I remove the scarf from my face and he examined it

“ how you get this scar its really deep” doctor said to me and I kept my mouth shut

“Doctor it’s our personal matter please don’t interrogate her” Aron shut the doctor

“We will have total three sessions to change your face and give you new life” doctor said after examining me.

AYAINA P.O.V

 After discussing everything with the doctor, we all get back to our home and headed towards our home

“Ayaina it’s a very big decision for you but we are with you” Tasha said

“I  want to get away from this scar as soon as possible, it’s not because it makes me ugly but because it is the reminder of the scary night which I want to forget” I said controlling my tears

“You are such a brave lady and I am happy that you are taking initiative to forget everything and we are with you” Aron said. We are heading towards the home silently.

I know what I have decided require lot of courage because my whole identity is going to get changed in few days and then I will start my new life.  I will not let anyone control me, I will write my own destiny. I close my eyes with that thought

FLASHBACK STARTS

*the car stops and then he came out, the demon with a scary smirk on his face in his black suit looking like a devil who will suck my soul today

“Demon please leave me, why are you doing this to me” I begged in front of him

“Baby doll you try to defy me, now you will face the consequences of saying no to me” he said to me and with every word he is coming closer to me

“I don’t like you, why don’t you understand this simple thing, we are two small for all these things” I said to him

“I am 21 years old and you are 20 years old, I think we are in legal age to do what we desires” he said to me and touch my face with his filthy hands

“Please don’t destroy my life demon, I want to be something in my life and your one wrong step can destroy our life” I said to him with tears in my eyes

“Baby doll, my life won’t be destroyed because my dad is there to back me but I can’t guarantee yours” he said to me

“Demon please understand” I again begged in front of him

“Enough of your begging, now tell me, will you marry me or not. I will give you everything you desires and I will put the whole world under your feet” he said to me, he is being childish at this point of time

“Demon I am not ready for all this, stop your madness” I screamed at him and I think he didn’t like it because in next moment he caught my jaw

“I dare you to again scream at me” he said to me with his red eyes and I choose to keep my mouth shut, then he holds me through my waist tightly that I loudly scream

“You all leave the place right now” he said this to his men and they left the place immediately, I am still in his clutches

“I am asking you for the last time, what is your answer to my proposal” his eyes are threatening me

“It’s a ‘no’ and it will always be a ‘no’ because I hate you and if you were the last person in this whole world to marry then I would choose to die” I said to him in bitter tone because I am tired of him following me, he used to hate me but then suddenly he started following me, only god knows what is cooking in his brain.

“Are you sure baby doll” he asked me with a dangerous smirk and I got scared for a while but then I compose myself because I have to do this, he can’t threatened me like this and I know he can’t do anything

“Yes I am sure, now leave me” I struggled in his arms and then he picked me like sack of potatoes.

“Demon leave me, what are you doing, I will go to police if you didn’t stop” I threatened him and constantly beating on his back but he didn’t listen and throw me harshly on his car back seat that it bruised my arm. I tried to open the gate but it is of no use because he has put the lock in it then he settles on the driving seat and start his car

“Where are you taking me” I asked him in a bit high tone

“Baby doll don’t shout otherwise I will put a bullet in your pretty mouth” he said to me

“What do you think of yourself, are you some sought of gangster, let me free from your clutches then I will call police” I said to him and he started laughing

“Baby I am worse then gangster, I am the mafia” he said and I couldn’t believe my ears

“What? It can’t be possible because your dad is a business” I said with confused tone because I have always heard in the newspaper that his father is the biggest tycoon of the country

“Okay sweetheart you can think whatever you want, I don’t mind” he said to me and when I analyze everything like he has armed men who always carry gun then there is a possibility that he is in mafia. s**t what will I do now?

My train of thought stopped with the sudden jerk of car. He step out of the car and I try to open my side of gate but it didn’t open then demon open it, I tried to run but he caught me by my arm

“Baby doll, don’t try to be over smart with me, fragile girl like you can’t escape me” he said and started pulling me harshly by my arm and in front of me there is an old cottage. I am constantly pleading him to leave me but he kept on dragging me until we reach inside the cottage and he lock the door

“Why did you lock the door” I asked him getting scared and he has again that dirty smirk on his face

“Because my men are outside and I don’t want them to see you naked” he said and I felt like my breath got stopped*

FLASHBACK ENDS

I suddenly open my eyes when someone put hand on my shoulder and I see Tasha and Aron looking at me with concerned faces. It was all dream but why I am getting flashbacks whenever I close my eyes, god please help me

“Is everything alright Ayaina” she asked me and I nodded my head

“You are sweating in the A/C car” she said to me and I put my palm on me head and indeed I am sweating like a mad woman

“Nothing happened” I said and get out of the car and run towards the house and lock my room.

 ‘No, no I don’ want to remember anyyhing. I HATE YOU DEMON’ I shouted closing my ears because I am getting the flashback of the incident

DEMON P.O.V

I get up in the morning and take a shower immediately because I have lot of stuff to handle today. I wore my black trousers and white shirt for the meeting. I walk downstairs where my mom and dad is sitting and having a conversation, actually my dad is making a conversation whereas my mom is only listening to him, typical housewife

“Good morning mom and dad” I said and sit on the chair, we all live in this house but I am only living this meaningless life

“Son I selected a suitable girl for you to marry, I think it’s right time for you to get married” dad said to me while having his food, my appetite is lost hearing him, I gave a look to mom but she didn’t make eye contact to me that means they have already talked about this.

 “It’s my life and it should be only me who decides that what I want to do with my life and no one to meddle in this and as far as my marriage is concerned so let me burst your bubble that I am not going to get marry because the girl I love left me” I said this in anger

“Ohh now I see, you are still in that b***h control, I don’t get this what that girl have done to you, look at yourself you are mafia son and here you are in love with the girl who is nothing but burden in the society when she was here” he said to me and I couldn’t keep my calm and throw the chair my plate in opposite direction

“STOP ABUSING HER, if I respect you  then its doesn’t mean that you can mock my love” I said to him, I love my dad but I can’t let him talk about my only love

“Demon get out of your cage, that girl make mockery of your love in front of whole world and here you are defending her, I am happy that she is no longer in your life otherwise I can only imagine that she will destroy you” he said to me and I close my eyes and remember the moment where she left me on our marriage day

“I know and I will never forgive her for that but I still love her and it doesn’t matter to me that she is not alive because she is the only girl I have ever love and my heart is not allowing me to forget her, when she was in my life I was alive but now I am only a dead body, my soul left me. I am only a ruthless man that you created dad” I said with emotionless face because there is no emotion left in me.

“I hate that girl because she made you like this, people fear you and you are the most deadly man but only I know you are hollow from inside” dad said to me and he is right because the girl I love have taken away my soul

“Son please get married, your life will be back on track, it’s been three years since she left this world, you can’t live like this” mom said to me and I can see her pain

“I want a heir from you god dammit because I want another mafia leader after you” dad said with anger in his voice

“I am ready to donate my sperm but I will not allow any woman to enter into my life” I said this with authority and left the house.

Why did you leave me ayaina, if you didn’t left me on our marriage day then everything will be perfect. I don’t know what happen to you on that day and I am dying daily to know the truth behind your disappearance, people said that you are dead but my heart is not ready to believe it, I have searched every place but there is no trace of you. I want you alive because I want my share of revenge, I love you but I want you to suffer like I suffer. I want you to feel the pain which I have suffered.

I don’t know what is this feeling inside me, where I want you alive because I love you and on the other hand  I want my revenge. You can’t die, god can’t be this unfair to me, and I will find you even if it takes forever

I get into the parking lot and take my Bentley and left for office and within 20 minutes I reached my office, my office building is one of the lavish office in this town and here I carry out all my illegal activities. When I entered into my office whole staff get up from their seat and bow in front of me, this is their daily ritual. I ignored them and straight away go to my office.

 I opened my office door and it brings smile into my faces seeing the love of my life in front of my eyes, my whole  office room has ayaina pictures and I don’t allow anyone to enter into this room because I don’t want anyone to see my ayaina because baby you are only for my eyes to see.

I sit on my master chair and dialed a number of my trusted man who I appointed to search for ayaina. After 3 rings he picked up the call

“Tom, what is the update” I asked him in my rude tone

“Sir the picture which you have given me I searched it everywhere but I couldn’t find it” he said to me and I can feel the shiver in his voice

“She is just a girl, how can you cannot find her it’s been 3 years, you are completely useless” I said in frustrated tone because I want ayaina

“Sir I think she is dead because I have searched everywhere” he said to me and I lost my temper

“YOU BASTARD HOW CAN YOU SAY THAT, MY AYAINA CAN’T BE DEAD” I screamed at him

“Sir I am sorry” he said to me in apologetic tone

“I am done with everything, you have only 2 months to find her otherwise I will destroy the existence of your whole family” I said and cut the call without hearing his response

It’s enough of me being a patient person but now there will only be blood everywhere if I didn’t get ayaina
