When the kings and rulers reached Mumba they dispersed, each returning to their kingdoms and tribes to mobilise an army against people of Zomi.

To them the death of the king of Mumba should not go unpunished. The ruler of Akina was very happy for the death of the king of Mumba. When he got to Akina, he said to his chiefs, "i will not mobilise my army to fight against Zomi. Zomi did right by getting rid of that stupid king that took my woman away from me".

"My lord, he was married to Marbeth, you weren't married to Marbeth" said one of the chiefs.

"But i declared my interest before the king of Mumba. She accepted me. She was already carrying my child when that mad king put a ring in her finger. Marbeth betrayed me. She never talked about my encounter with her to anyone, like i never existed! The death of the king of Mumba is the end to my nightmare. We will not avenge him. Akina will not avenge him!!! He said angrily and left the room.

In Zomi, the king of Mumba was now resting in his cell. The ruler of Zomi dispatched more men in search of Zamza, Aya and the baby girl.

Zamza, Aya with the baby were hastily leaving Zomi when they met with Akami, who was also on his way out of Zomi. When Akami met them he was elated and explained what had happened to Marbeth. Zamza and Akami looked at each other and Zamza said, "we will go rescue her from the flesh eaters"

"Are you insane?" Asked Aya but after long Zamza put the baby girl into Aya's hands and said, "Akami, protect my sister and this baby" he tried to go.

"I don't have any business with the baby or your sister. I have business with you and where you go i shall go" said Akami.

Aya was left with no other choice than to protect the little girl. She looked straight into her brother's eyes and said, "i hope it all worth it" and left with the baby girl. Akami and Zamza decided to go rescue Marbeth from the flesh eaters.

In Mumba there was chaos and chanting of war. The elders could not control the youths and the army. The kings and rulers from other kingdoms and tribes were arriving in Mumba to join forces against Zomi.

In Zomi, the ruler had decided to set the king of Mumba free.

Near the cave in Zomi, the flesh eaters were forcefully removing Marbeth's cloths to r**e her before killing and eating her alongside the other lady.

The king of Mumba who has now been set free by the ruler of Zomi Was now on his way home through the forest of Zomi. His heart was heavy and he knew the people of Mumba would surely go to war with him against Zomi.

The soldiers the founder of Zomi sent after Zamza, Aya and the baby arrived at the scene of the flesh eaters who were still struggling to undress Marbeth and the other lady and the flesh eaters paused as their leader looked at the soldiers carefully and realised they were Zomi soldiers. He smiled and matched forward, "we are just having a good time" said the leader of the flesh eaters.

"This is not the time to be causing problems around here. Release the ladies and leave the forest" said the leaders of the soldiers.

The flesh eaters looked at one another and their leaded chuckled wickedly. "We will leave the forest as commanded by our ruler but we are going with our pries" said the leader of the flesh eaters, pointing at Marbeth and the other lady.

"You will leave the ladies behind" said the leader of the soldiers as he drew his sword. The rest of the soldiers drew their swords too. The flesh eaters picked their fighting weapons as their leader said, "we are treated like animals by our ruler. We were banished and forced to live in the forests like animals. Whatever we are today it was your so called ruler that made it so. We are not going without these ladies or there will be a fight"

"No, there won't be a fight. That will be your death!!! Shouted the leader of the soldiers as they pounced on the flesh eaters. As the fight raged on, from afar, the king of Mumba, who was staring at them and at his wife with his mouth wide open in shock remain hidden to know the outcome of the fight.

From afar, Zamza and Akami were both watching the fight too as they waited for the right time to go rescue Marbeth from their heat of the fight.

The fight became more intense as the king of Mumba was praying that the flesh eaters win the fight and they did win the fight. The soldiers didn't know the forest mire than the flesh eaters and the traps set by the flesh eaters made them triumph in the fight. The remaining soldiers of Zomi ran away. Marbeth Was now scared to the brim and the lady she was being held with decided to escape. The leader of the flesh eaters saw this and told his men not to run after her. Marbeth regretted not following the lady in her escape , little did she imagine what happened next. One of the traps the flesh eaters set in the forest caught and cut the lady into two. Her blood splattered on Zamza and Akami where they were hiding. The laughter of the leader of the flesh eaters rang in the air. Marbeth watched as some of the flesh eaters rushed to the body of the lady and started eating her raw. Zamza and Akami could not believe their eyes. The king of Mumba decided to come out of his hiding place. The leader of the flesh eaters watched him as he approached. Marbeth could not believe her eyes. That was her husband. That was the king of Mumba.

Facing the leader of the flesh eaters the king of Mumba said, 'i'm the king of Mumba and right here is my wife who happens to be your captive. I know that by now the kings and rulers in my land will be on their way to avenge my death so they thought. And i want you not to be part of the people they will destroy. You want to be free? Release my wife and fight for me'.

The leader of the flesh eaters bowed before him and so did the rest of the flesh eaters. Zamza and Akami kept watching this.

The king of Mumba turned to his wife Marbeth and said, 'i had a strange rumor my lovely wife. They said your new born baby is not mine and here i am putting my life at risk for your sake. You see, you don't deserve my love and today Zomi will fall and after today, Akina will fall and the father of your baby will fall with it'.

MarbeMarbeth's mouth fell open in shock. Zamza and Akami looked at each other.

In the western side of Zomi, the great army ever seen in the history of the earth were riding from Mumba and other kingdom and tribes to avenge the death of the king of Mumba whom they thought was dead.

In Akina, the ruler sat in his chamber with tears of anger in his eyes. He had just learnt that Marbeth and her baby were still alive and that the king of Mumba was not dead.

In Zomi, the greatest wizards and the ruler of Zomi gathered to discuss the fate of Zomi.

In the forest of Zomi, Zamza's sister Aya was seen running with the baby girl in her palms.

Zamza said to Akami where they were hiding; we should find Aya and leave Zomi with the baby"

"Now you know? Where the hell will you find Aya?" Akami said angrily.

"We have to find her" said Zamza before he sneaked out of the area with Akami, who was angry with him.

Inside the forest of Zomi, Marbeth was seated with her hands covering her face. She was crying.

"Are you ashamed of yourself?" Asked the king of Mumba, who was standing in front of her. "You were sleeping with the ruler of Akina and had a child for him. You even had to sneak out of your kingdom to live with him" the king of Mumba was obviously in rage.

"No, that was not so. He abducted me" Marbeth cried.

"Quiet!!!" Shouted the king. "Where is the baby?" The king's eyes were now red and Marbeth knew if he laid his hands on the baby he would kill her. She prayed that Zamza kept the baby safe.

"I said, where is the baby?" The king of Mumba asked again.

Marbeth looked up at him and said, "you know what you are and you simply want to make me look like the devil here. But i know you. You don't care about anyone but yourself" said Marbeth.

"Is that the excuse you give for opening your legs for another man?" The king said and chuckled sadly. He commanded some of the flesh eaters to have Marbeth bound and put on a horse. They were already hearing the roaring of the great army from the west and the king of Mumba knew that soon Zomi would fall.

"Why not reveal that you are still alive and spare Zomi from this doom? If the ruler of Zomi set you free then he is a better man than we thought" said one of the flesh eaters. The king of Mumba looked at him and lied, "i escaped from the ruler of Zomi. He could have had me killed"

"You would let Zomi fall?" Asked Marbeth.

"Zomi will fall and Akina will fall and you will provide that bastard of yours and watch me slay her throat and feed her to the dogs" said the king of Mumba.

In Akina, the king of Akina said to his generals, "if the great army from West defeats Zomi the king of Mumba would convince the Kings And rulers of the West to turn the army against Akina. Surely by now he knows that I abducted his wife and he will come for me. But we command a great army, yet even at that we will not stand a chance against the great army of the West which is why we have to ride as fast as we can to Zomi and fight for them against the army of the west"

One of the generals sighed and said, "even if we join forces with Zomi, i still don't see us victorious"

"Then we die in the battle field instead of waiting to be butchered in Akina" said the ruler of Akina. The generals obeyed their ruler and began to mobilise the great army of Akina to ride in support of Zomi.

Zomi was ready for the war but it looked like a suicide mission. The sea of soldiers riding from the west were like the sands of the earth. The ruler of Zomi knew that even his wizards were not going to defeat this great army. He stood his ground and so did his army. The soldiers from the west first swept through the village of Zomi, killing everyone on their part. Unfortunately Aya was nesting in one of the huts in the village of Zomi with the baby girl in her arms while the soldiers from the west were busy burning down the huts and killing every man, woman and child. Aya closed her eyes and waited for her death. Just then the door of the hut fell and Aya knew it was over for her and the baby.
