Reni saw this and could not understand what Adaeze had turned into. The marketers in the market began to run for their lives. Reni left the rock side and headed towards the stake to rescue Chinecherem, Tiana and the Chief. Tiana's cloths were already catching the fire. The three kept screaming. Reni, on reaching the stake was struck so hard by the thunder from the staff of Mirama and she fell unconsciously close to the fire. Adaeze used her flaming sword to fight off the soldiers attacking her and headed to meet with Mirama. Mirama's generals saw her approaching and they dismounted their horses to protect Mirama.
Reni woke and found out that Tiana was now burning and Chinecherem was about to be roasted. The Chief began to scream harder. Reni made her way round the fire.
