I WANT MORE

1100 Words
MAYA’S POV I sighed heavily, the flashbacks of my heated arguments with Leon crashing down on me. He had apologized for raising his voice and laying his hand on me and of course, I accepted. I had believed him when he promised not to repeat such an act again even though this was the millionth time he had ever made such a promise. The truth was that I loved him and that was all that mattered. I mean, everyone had their way of loving and I guess this was Leon’s way of loving me. Just like he said, no one would ever want me if he breaks up with me so it’s high time I appreciate him for staying with me regardless of his inconsistency. I dragged myself forcefully to the janitor’s floor, picking the necessary things needed for the cleaning. If there was anything I would do right at the moment, it would definitely be to scrub the brothel rooms right so Gary could lay me off the call girl job. I had just started it anyway but it felt like I had been into it for a while. “Hey, fattie!” A girl called. “Clean this,” she said, chuckling as she littered the long pathway with a bottle of drink. I folded my hand into a fist, boiling with rage. “Sto…” I tried to speak but my uncle suddenly appeared from nowhere, interrupting me. The girl walked away urgently sighting the boss. “Maya, clean up room thirty-five immediately. A client had just booked the room and he will be there in a few minutes,” he instructed, standing at the edge of the long pathway. I could feel his burning gaze on me. “You have three minutes,” “But I learned someone just left the room. I doubt that three minutes will be enough to put it in order,” I replied dreadfully “I don’t care. Just do as I have told you, silly!” He exclaimed, dashing out I protested a little, finding my way to room thirty-five. On reaching there, I was met with a tidied room. The previous client was well brought up enough to put it in order before leaving. I exhaled sharply, feeling the weight of the responsibility leaving my shoulder. Just as I was about to leave, my eyes darted around the room and met a bottle of whiskey on the side table beside the bed. My eyes glistened, and my body suddenly craved it. Stop it, Maya. Since when did you become a thief? I shut the door behind me and reached out for the drink, pouring myself a little into the cup placed beside it. Gulping it down, I moaned out in pleasure, savoring every bit of it. I needed this. I really did. I needed to drown in it and forget my predicaments. I knew I did… I drank continuously, suddenly feeling tipsy. Everything appeared double in my eyes and it felt like the world was on my head, spinning nonstop. I sank into the bed, smiling to myself. It was the first time I genuinely smiled. Damn. Where had this been all these while? Suddenly, the door swung open, making me jolt up in fear. I gazed at him, my eyes getting lost in his. What a being. He was so hot and gorgeous or was it the drink? I doubt it. He stood about 6’7ft tall with a broad shoulder and chiseled jaw, his lips beautifully carved to fit his face. His eyes were hazel which threatened to see through me and ultimately made me desire him. He exuded a wealthy and cold demeanor even though his drunk self gave away his soft side. He had a weird aura that screamed mystery and had successfully gotten me hooked and before you could know it, I had fallen in love with him. “W-what a beauty,” he said slowly and surprised, satisfaction flashing through his eyes. “You must be the lady I booked for tonight,” I batted my eyes, trying to comprehend what he had said but then I was too overwhelmed with his beauty that I decided to let it slide. And oh, his voice? Sweet and inviting. The most melodious sound I had heard all my life. “You have the most perfect body and pretty face that I have ever seen. Look at those eyes,” he gushed, walking over to me. I felt my pulse race and flutter as he called me beauty, speaking other kind things to me. It was exactly what I had wanted to hear for ages from her Leon and all the other people who had continuously bullied me, but they never came. My heart raced heavily as he sat close to me, our bodies just a tiny inch away from each other. He gradually reached out for my face, caressing it with his thumb as he slowly leaned in to kiss me but before he could get to it, I already leaned in and let my lips fall on his. He pulled away, smiling. I saw his eyes burn intensely, suddenly getting cold feet but then I thought it could be a mistake. No. This wasn’t it. He shouldn’t pull away. I wanted more… then Surprisingly, he gave my head a slight forward push indulging me in a passionate kiss, his dominance making me hot. As we fell deeply into the kiss, our hands traveled to places and right there we had an intense moment of passion. ****************** I woke up with a sore body, smiling to myself as the memories of last night played in my head. Tracing the bed, I found the part where the stranger had laid, empty. Where could he have gone? Was he gone for good? I felt a pang of hurt at the reality of the situation. I glanced at the clock before me realizing that it was already Gary’s work arrival time. I gasped, jumping out of the bed and hastily getting into my clothes. As I was about to leave, I noticed a note on the table with something that seemed like a cheque kept beside it. Grabbing it, I figured it was a note from the stranger which read: “Here’s a blank check for you. Fill whatever you like and cash out but make sure no one knows about what happened else I doubt you’d love to tell the story,” Who could this man be? How could he be hot and threatening at the same time?
