When Dante brought Serenity home with him, he swore that he would love and protect her the way Sabrina would have. He knew he had to get ready for Sabrina's funeral, but didn't know were to start to get his daughter ready. Then he heard a knock on the door and his mother walked in and said, "son can I help you get serenity ready for you" He was barely aware of his mother but shook his head ok. As she took serenity and changed her diaper and clothes she said, "Son none of this was your fault you tried to protect Sabrina please don't blame yourself." He replied, "Mom I don't, I blame everyone at that god forsaken hospital and movieplex." His mom didn't think anymore about what her son had said and they went to the funeral to bury Sabrina. After everyone said their peace to Dante and left Dante held his newborn daughter and sat at Sabrina's grave telling his daughter all about her mother. Then that night after Serenity went to sleep, Dante told his mother he was taking a walk to clear his head of course his mother said ok and that she would watch the baby, he thanked her and walked out.
