On our way back to our chairs after we finished our dance and after thanking Axel for a beautiful song that he sang beautifully, I caught the conversation Katie and Nate was having.
"I thought your older cousin is gonna show up here when you talk to him on the phone." Katie asked Nate with a curious frown.
Oh, I also remember hearing that earlier, too.
"Thanks." I told with a smile after he pulled my chair for me so I can sit down.
Dylan sat down next to me, and I heard Nate's reluctant answer, as if he was keeping something secretive. I mean, the three of us have all been close friends for a long time now, since high school, so we obviously can tell whether any of us were trying to hide something or reluctant to admit something. Now that got me curious.
