Violet's pov
Elia froze when she saw me. But immediately, she scuttled into the cottage and shut the door firmly behind her.
I unmounted Shadow quickly, and ran after her. I twisted the knob on the door but it wasn't budging.
"Elia? Elia? Please open up. I know it's you I saw." I shouted, pounding on the door.
"There wasn't any response from inside the cottage. Why did she run? And what was she doing here?
I kept pounding on the door but she didn't open it. Exasperated, I went around the cottage and kept calling her name for several minutes, then I heard faintly. "Go away. He said I should stay away from you."
"Confused, I asked. "Who said that?"
Silence.
"Elia, you are my friend and nobody can stop me from seeing you if I want." I said.
I stood outside her door for some minutes
